leelo, thanks for iGSkinner. Great app.
BTW, first post has been updated with a small clip of iGMon in action. It's pretty close to being finished now. Hopefully I'll be able to release it in 2, 3 days.

OMG... this is exactly what I've been looking for. I have an Alpine navigational system in my Expedition and I've been looking for something like it for my Civic. And now something close.
BTW where do you live b8bboi? I work on Gallows Rd Falls Church VA!!! We've got to meet so I can check out your ride if you live close there.
I'll beta test for you too. Good luck.
Thanks

b8bboi: If you need any help let me know
Btw... How in the world are you getting iG to pause RR and send the EXIT / LOAD commands??
Also I noticed in the video that you have a speed label and compass on the music page... Did you use a com splitter and GPSSPD/GPSHDG labels or are you getting the info directly from iG's mem?
Any info on the skinning? I have never attempted to mod my iG beyond some simple reshacks because of the serious learning curve. Can you maybe give me a few tips?

I just watched the video and all I can say is WOW. Thats exactly how I would want a Nav app to work.
Can't wait for the release, Great work, man!!

I can make you something simple for that.. PM me for details.. all it is is just some cut/paste of some of RR's code.
PS: why am I the only one who can't see the video ? hahaha I bet it's got something with that new DivX codec screwing up my XviD (which is installed) -- nice music though.. haha

If you are interested in making it compatible with more FEs, I think it would just require some of your features' actions to be able to be mapped to configurable hotkey combinations.
I don't know if you'd be able to make all features available for other FEs, but for instance one of the major features, the pausing of music during directions, could be accomplished by sending a "Ctrl-Alt-P" (default play/pause command in Centrafuse)..

can we use the ACTIVATE; command with your app for sendkeys? I prefer to have no buttons on the iguidance screen and set them up thru the skin. Igskinner couldnt use this if i recall correctly.

Yeah, I use a com port splitter to get the GPS info to appear on RR. In fact that's needed for the auto-zoom to work.
As for skinning, you can skin all of the IG menus like justintime did with reshacker. It's just very tedious. I'm glad that justintime's design kinda matches my theme.
As for iGMon, you can totally skin the OSK and the buttons.
