Who uses that 9 year old pile garbage?

From a programmers standpoint, writing 9x compatable apps that mostly do fancy GUI tricks is pure programming hell.

yeah chances are pretty good that it won't work with win98. pretty sure the windowing system is all different.

Hey b8bb0i, would this work with the LSX VOID skin? He uses his own version of IG so I'm not sure if I can use this without messing that up. I really want to use this and hope the two can play together somehow.

People with limited MHZ and driver support.

As long as you don't use the modified iguidance.exe in his LSTOOLS, it should be fine.

Honestly its worth spending some $$$ and upgrading your hardware. Your OS isnt even supported at all by MS and hasnt been for the last 4 or 5 years. You really should upgrade, im sure you can find something cheap on ebay.

After about 1 hour of fixing, and editing, I have it working great with LSX void, without skinbedder.

The problem seems to be that when using LSX's skinbedder exe the igmon wizard cannot find the location of the distance box to zoom in on. It gives me some error that the x / y coords are outside the array parameters.

So I edited LSX's skin files to use the standard iguidance exe, and its working GREAT!

IF anyone wants my modded LSX files, let me know, I will post them here. its just a matter of editing the exectbl.ini and some of the .skin files.

just need to figure out why it won't work with skinbedder (iguidance version 2.1.3NA)

Yeah, like I said in my first post, it doesn't work with SkinBedder yet. The issue is SkinBedder hides the iGuidance window completely and iGMon won't be able to detect when iGuidance is "visible." I might work up a fix for this but I won't promise anything.

gonthorn, glad to hear that it works with 2.1.3. Please let me know what features you've tried out that work.

Auto switch to GPS screen when iguidance is talking

Thats all I tested so far, just drove around the block ;p

LSX VOID MOD <------ use this to allow IGMon to work with the void skin

Those of you who want to use this with LSX VOID, here are the files I modified to make it usable, it gives you audio control when in fullscreen GPS (at the cost of removing the flash speedo) and is fully compatible with igmon

replace the following files (note, this is set for 800 X 600 only)

The coords.ini replaces the coords.ini in LSTOOLS\SB2.9\IGUIDANCE\
The .skin files, and the ExecTBL.ini should overwrite the Skins\LSXvoid\ files of the same name

Just unzip the attached file and overwrite as decribed above
