I don't think those links are skins for the CD Monitor app, they are for RR itself! I'm pretty sure that the CD Monitor runs in the tray and doesn't require any skin files.

That is in the features list for the RR skin "MAS" by Sweet05. It's a skin for road runner, not the cd monitor app. You can use the cd monitor with any skin, but you may be to edit the skin files manually. All the CD monitor app does is monitor the CD drive and send a command to road runner when a disk is inserted.

No worries! I also posted a similar thread on this topic ages ago on how to get CDs and DVDs to autoplay, I used the built in autoplay feature in windows xp to send the command to RR. This will only work if you are using the windows explorer shell though, which is normall the case. See here:

this thread isnt that dead so dont flame me yet. first of all i couldnt get the cdmonitor to download.

^^EDIT: found it on page two.

second, someone who knows how exactly this little program works, is there a way it could be modded to detect blank cds? deanthom, im not running the windows shell, so your solution cant help me (i wish it could tho). i see all the source files, but i dont know what to do with them...... [sad face]. help?

ok well actually after reading, which i should have done more of in the first place, i guess i can do what i want with this. (see above). what would also be nice is to send a command when the CD is ejected. can anyone do that?

does anybody know if sweet05 is still around? i send him a pm some weeks ago, with no respond yet, i want to send him something that i did for cd's, dvd's and blank disk's, maybe he can improve it for us.

NOTE:i'm not trying to hijack his thread.
