i tried this. Your instructions did not get carweb running in rr. I added the exectbl.ini entry, added the button to my menu skin, and added the carweb folder to rrs folder, moved your skin to my skin folder.. and the button does nothing. Only way i got it to run was to use LOAD;wbrowser.skin;RRCARWEB;C:\Program Files\ROAD RUNNER\CARWEB\carweb.exe;RRCARWEB

and with that it runs on top of rr instead of in it. What does this do that the built it web browser doesnt? And i have a suggestion. You need the status bar, most of us dial up users with cell phones needa know if the page is loading or just sitting there.

I have run it in my car for a week without problem you installit exatly same you install rrcdrip. the status bar dont work with the mozilla plugin that i use
what i know, i found out something.

put this in your execTBL.ini below the Rrcdrip text.

/, Set Bellow the Path to the web plugin (if used)
"CARWEB","PLUGIN;RRCARWEB;C:\Program Files\ROAD RUNNER\CARWEB\carweb.exe"

"QUIT","SendMsg;RRCARWEB;showplugin||bye"
"BYE","QUIT"

go to menu skin and put this code on the button you wanna use,

B07,348,335,102,75,"CARWEB","CARWEB"

if you use BMV2 or BAV2 else only change code to CARWEB

i attach the execTBL.ini , menu.skin
Attached Files
File Type: txt KeyTBL.ini.txt (872 Bytes, 101 views)
File Type: txt menu.skin.txt (1.7 KB, 94 views)

so far looks good, the install instructions are a little off though. You should design everything so there are no conflicts with any other files or settings in RR. Your "QUIT" command is already present in the ExecTBL.ini file and if you also have CDRIP enabled there will be issues, so you either have to manually combine the comands or you should create a unique command to use for carweb like
"QUITCARWEB","SendMsg;RRCARWEB;showplugin||bye "
also you should NOT overwrite any default skin files in RR, your plugin should use 100% of its own files so when you install it, it dosent break any default functions of RR, but yet adds onto.
The files that get overwritten are
wbrowser.skin
WEB_OFF.jpg
WEB_DOWN.jpg

So if you install carweb and later decide you dont like it for whatever reason, you now have the issue of restoreing these files and may have to reinstall whatever skin you were using.
