I'm thinking of having atleast two of these cards in use for all the functions i need... well mostly the relays that i'm short on.

It does not at the moment. You can use one card at one of the four available addresses. I might implement a card address destination switch command that you can execute before the actually sending output to the desired card.

please help, im using latest version of rr and also using the latest version of the plugin (also tested the beta). i have added the relays.skin and other files for it into my skin, added the dll & ini to the rr folder and registed the DLL, i have added the command "LOAD;relays.skin", into my menu skin.

when i click the button i see the screen but no values in anything and it doesnt read / controll the board but i get no errors, any ideas?

Does the relays.skin have a X,RRK8055 entry?
Does the demo program of the K8055 board work.
Where is the K8055d.dll located. Try moving it to the windows\system32 directory or the road runnner directory

Hi, yeah the skin has the entry and it has the capital X.
the demo program works fine and the files are in the RR directory.

the strange thing is i just unregistered the dll and renamed it and launched the skin, nothing, its almost as if its not trying to load the DLL.

Are you sure Dan you've registered the DLL corectly? i am asking this because before registering i have had to go to the correct path and then to register. I used TotalComander for this. but it should work from promter too... Before i did that, my result was identical with yours...

yeah im sure, ive also tried unregistering it and registering it from that dir.

the strange thing is if i add X,RRK8055 to the menu.skin when i load the relays .skin the counters and two inputs to the right at the bottom show 0, if i dont have that there they are blank.

Copy the k8055d.dll to your rr directory

i copied the k8055d.dll from the demo app but it made no difference, i tried to register it and got this error

Dan you have to copy the DLL from this thread, not the original DLL file that you have with your demo...
Have you tried with this one?

yeah ive had the rrk8055.dll there and registered the whole time but 307sw's last post was about k8055d.dll which is what the demos use

i think thats the problem, i downloaded the demo app from the velleman site as i cant find the cd, its probably the updated dll, could someone zip the working version of the k8055d.dll and post it on here please?
