Lightbulb Teamspeak plugin idea

I find my self using teamspeak more and more now that I have teh wireless intranets in the car. It makes my long drives to work and back much more enjoyable. It can just be a pain to keep minimizing RR and switching back and forth between TeamSpeak and RR while driving.

So my thought was to have a plugin that would allow you to connect to teamspeak and give you a nice visual for whos in the channel and options to change channels or ever servers. I know it can work because I have a G15 Logitech keyboard that has an LCD readout that works with TS that shows all that info and allows you to mute/unmute right from the keyboard...

What do you guys think? Anyone up for the challenge???

Wow, if I am playing video games on the PC, Teamspeak is great..... in the car though? Wow, I thought a simple cell phone call was a distraction! I am glad I am a few states away from where you are driving

I dont use teamspeak only for gaming, I use it to talk to friends and family, its pretty sweet, I have it automatically startup with the carpc and if people want to talk they just jump in my channel. I would say its safer then talking on my phone because I use a headset when I am using teamspeak.

It was just an idea, it works well how it is now, just thought other people might be interested...

same here, friend moved to vegas, cheaper to talk by teamspeak.

Anyway I got some files to share. I got teamspeak to work in RR. Few bugs but try it out.

You will need Skinbedder.

Sounds kewl. Will check it out this evening and see if anyone's on.

To connect to the server, if you have TeamSpeak installed already, just click the following link to Launch TeamSpeak in the CarPC channel:

Please use your mp3car.com screen name on the TS server so we can identify who you are easier...
