The one that robby refers to is supposed to be standalone, he has just made a bit of electronics that intercepts the signals and connects to the PC's USB. (he's also done the necessary software).
Or maybe possible to do the same to your one.

Don't worry
I asked because I doesn't understand if that TPMS kit is provided of a comunication port and you was looking for a way to connect it to the PC or if you have asked if is possible to use it with my software.

Suggestion:
Since the stems/sensors are color coded, anyway to use colors instead of sensor number w/ the option to use those labels in the skin?
It'll make moving sensors around less...annoying...trying to remember which sensor number is associated w/ a color. (i.e. rotating tires)
That was a real PITA w/ my SmartTire system. Always had to keep a list of which sensor was which color and the tire location.

There isn't any reference at the sensor number in the skin.
Perhaps are you talking about the section "Sensor location" in the config utility?

Yeah, the sensor location in the config. In addition to numbers, or instead of numbers, a color can be assigned since the sensors are color coded too.
On top of that, a label could be added/created w/ the plugin so you can see in the skin which color sensor is associated with a specific tire for quick verification so you don't have to keep opening the config utility all the time.

It's a good idea, I will give a look in it after the 26st because the next week I will be traveling in Spain.

Better idea!
In the config app, make so you have 5 sections, numbered 1-5, and then you can assign a sensor to each number. Then, next to each wheel on the car diagram, instead of 'learn' just make a little drop down combo box, and select the sensor 1-5. That way when you rotate tires, just gotta open the config and change which sensor number is at each wheel.
Or instead of sensor numbers, you could do it by the colors on the sensors themselves =]

The "Learn" button can't be replaced by the drop down lists, but it's posible to move the 5 drop down lists near each buttons.

Why cant it be replaced? Certainly you can move the learn buttons over to the side, next to the numbers 1-5 (or colors) for each sensor (in my suggestion above), and just have the drop downs by the car diagram, right?

Of course, all the controls can be moved.
What I said is that the buttons can't be replaced by the drop down lists because the two controls have diferent functions, you should keep both.

Would you be able to implement this?
I would (assuming I ever manage to get VB6 installed on my computer again (that is what its programmed in right?))
But it would be a lot easier and cleaner if you could do it real quick..

Anybody know how to add this to DigitalFX 2.0? And yes I did see the howto at the beginning of the thread. My question actually centers around adding a button. As there seems to be a png file that would need to be edited in addition to modifying the text skins file.

If you get all the hardware interfacing completed and working, making a button for it will be the least of your worries. You can either remap an unused button (I think dfx supports changing the buttons without editing the skin) or edit the png if not..
