OK this my first tread on mp3car

and i just installed RR yesterday with rrcam

i have small issue with the overlay but they were already stated

but i want to overlay some more value from obdII and other com device

would it be possible to import them ??

lets say if you just call them them data 1 to whatever ??

i'm not pro at this ...yet

RRCamera funtion not working correctly.
Hello peepz,

I am realy happy with the RR software. And hope that somebody can help me.

The camera function is not starting from the userinterface. I can see in the live debug that the command is "ONCOMMANDINVALID".

When I hit the `re-executed` option the camera will start and work normaly. Record, etc it works. Also the still capture and video is transported to the right directory.

The "bug" I recieve in the Live Debug is the following one:

BYVAR;MAINBUTTON9;MyApp01<<MyApp02<<MyApp03<<MyApp 04<<MyApp05

So when I see this, and "re-executed" the camera It will work.

The camera simply will not boot from the user interface.

Can someone please help me?? I realy like to go build the carputer.

2.) i always want to record continuously so i set the filename to somethign static:

i suppose this will override the file every time rrcam starts..however the option Files 2 confused me. Will it create "Record1" and "Record2" then always delete the later one when it loops trough the files?.... i really just want to have 2 files on my pc that basically cache the last 20 minutes of driving (so 40min max total).

anyone can help me with this? i would love to use this software but deleting the files manually is a really a pain...

I am getting a error pop up when I try to close RRCAM, anyone know what this could be

This is the command I have for the button
RRCam.exe;PREPEXIT||CLOSEWINDOW;RRCam.exe||EXIT

Try setting
Driver=0
in config.ini

its was set to 0 initial and I've tried 1 also but no change???

if I run the app on its own it seems to work? so only get the error from RR could this be directory link related??

Sorted was the path in the config file, but now I just get a clear screen? any ideas

Did you register the dll's
regsvr32 videoOCX.ocx
regsvr32 videoOCXTools.ocx

then check if VideoX dll ir VideoOCX.dll (forget which one) is located in the same folder ad Rcam. If not then go to C/windows/Sustem32/ and find DLL there and copy it back to Rcam folder
