No luck
My skin & screen is 800x600. Even after changing the showwdith and showheight settings in the General.ini to 1024x768, is still get the same results.

I THINK i know whats going on then.. It probably an issue with the skin being a resized version of 1024x768 to fit the 800x600 screen.. I'll look in to it some more, but I would think that setting the position should fix that.. I'll check to see if maybe its broken and isnt moving..

Just installed a web cam in my 350z today and this is looking good in DFX 2.0.
I'm assuming that it must be an older version included in the DFX download as this post seems so recent.
2 questions which you may or may not be able to help with...
My camera is 800x640 native but videos only seem to be capturing at 400x320 - any ideas on how to up the resolution?
Also any luck on being able to capture higher framerates that 7fps without having fast video playback?
Sorry if these are duplicate/non relavent questions.
Love the app - I'll have fun with this, my little James Bond camera looks badass mounted up next to the head of my passenger seat lol

It shoudl capture at the resolution of your camera. Open the camera settings, make sure it is set to 800x640, theres a good chance it isnt.
Still no way to record more than 7 or 8 frames a second =/ Eventually I want to fix that, but I am FAR to busy to attempt it now..
Why not post some pics of your setup? =]

Yep I'll post a pic of a capture from the car tomorrow when it is light outside and I can get a better shot. I'll try messing with the camera settings although that means I'll have to install Creative's bloated crappy software lol.
I set the video to capture directly to a folder within my Video library so I can just get instant playback by going to the library and opening in the video player, don't know why I got such a kick out of that but it was fun lol.
I'm using the Creative Live iCam Notebook Pro which is nice as it has a mounting clip, is small and has a rolling barrel for the lens so I can just twist it to point out of the back or front of the car nice and easy.
Thanks for this plugin I think it will be great fun to mess around with

OK I managed to set my camera resolutions etc so that's all good.
Having a problem with the new skin though. I tried to replace the RRcam.skin that comes with DigitalFX 2.5 with the new one you provided in RRCam 2.0 but for some reason the skin completely disappears, it's not a background image issue as there is no functionality, it just shows the image being captured floating on my desktop.
Any ideas?

Yep I got those too but I think it;s the way digital FX calls the skin and app - I'm not very good at this stuff. In the digital FX skin with the button that launches RRcam it simple has this command after the button coords...
"RRcam",

Actually, just leave it as RRCam, and open up the ExecTbl.ini file in the skin folder, scroll down and find the 'rrcam' line and change it there

Somwhere in the driver settings for your driver. Check the software/manuals that came with the camera
