Has anyone had a problem with the winamp volume going to 0% if you shutdown with rrcam as the active window?

Anyone getting a blank white screen with RRCam? Now, every other camera app works on my CarPC except RRCam.

Has anyone been able to set the resolution of a Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 to anything over 320x240? If so could you please let me know. I have been trying to figure it out for a while now. I can set the resolution in Logitech's quick capture program but I cant find any setting for the camera that lets me adjust the resolution outside of their program.

Hmm well according to the logitech support forum the quickcam pro 9000 assumes that the program using it will handle the resolution. Since rrcam also assumes that the resolution is already set correctly it ends up using the lowest resolution possible. Any ideas how to force one of them to operate properly with better resolutions?

Does rrcam supports multiple cams?
Lets say there are 4 cams available, will it record a video displaying all 4 cams?
Does all 4 cams have to be identical, same model, drivers etc..?

is this project abandoned? it looks very promising.. though the restriction of 8 FPS is a big disappointment.. 8 FPS in a moving vehicle is that really enough, experiences anybody

on the other hand "capture!" looks very nice as well but NO gps data or TIME/DATE on the video!!

ok very nice project... but I think the video quolity is mot as good as it might. I have 540TV Lines camera and im getting crappy 5pix squares on the video output... i tried to use XVideo.ocx (esentially same ocx used here) and it gives me perfect video output comparing to this one..

So, is there any easy way to fix video quolity issuee? I can write my own app like in 5 min no problem but I wont be able to do the RR configurable plugin for comunity as im standalone type of programmer. so id rather stick to existig solution

any ideas on pix quolity improvements?
tnx

i think the problem here is the FPS..getting info from RR is very simple.. you can find tons of info here on hoe to request the labels and vars from RR... As i said above i am using capture at the moment together with "webcammax" (software that creates a virtual webcam driver) so i can overlay time and date on top of the video...GPS speed of course is not feasible.. anyway if you can write an app i think you could find lots of help here on how to make it communicate with RR

you see that a point, i can find tons of info, BUT the problem of RR is that it is forum based, no organaized information no SVC no project listings or tracking... If i want to see complete picture I have to go nuts learning the product

Well, I'll just dump my own version of camera capure w. exactly the same layout of buttons and functions but no config file and way better quolity of the video.

Release should be avalilable later on today

this thread has everything you need (i think) on how to use the SDK
http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/rr-f...cation-rr.html
by the way..RR connectivity would be nice..so you can display anything you want on the video..1.time, 2.date, 3.Gps speed, can be directly pulled from the system..

ok update:

Good news: I was able to get 29.5 fps for my version of the camera capture
Bad News: The pixalization still the issue and I'm working on it

Bad News 2: Unfotrunatly the OCX library used in RRcam is not free they ask for $200 or its 15day trial to use it... i dont really lile that so ill do everything from scratch (well unless some one got extra 200 ;-)

so probably will have a delay and wont be able to finish everything today

grr i hate when comp crases when i do programs...
here is the progress report..

new video engine has a bit better image quolity (still not good enough for me) you can look by urself at new.jpeg and compare to old.jpeg both screens taken at the same time.

Also in the zip file attached the bild of the app to test FPS on your systems.

EDIT: ummm no! the image quolity is identicy sux, but FPS should be better =)
