Currently, here's my hack solution. Because my "coverfile" variable is explicitly defined (i.e. folder.jpg), I've set up button codes to set the path for:
"FILE;$musicpath$$artpath$\folder.jpg"
The code gets really hairy when you browse into the artist's albums. It doesn't always work, especially if the folder path does not exactly match the ID3 artist/album info.
But at this point, I'll take what I can get
I really like seeing the album/artist coverart.

That IS the only downside to my plugin.
I think i understand. The included skin is a full-blown audio player. Still, if i want to use it as my audio player, will running the installer hurt anything? Like, will it install a second db and/or search engine or something like that..?
Sorry, everything is working fine in DFX4, so i just don't want to screw anything up.

I'm pretty sure that it won't but, the only thing you would have to do is make a copy of the RMDatabase folder in RR's folder and after you run the installer, overwrite the folder with the one you copied before you ran the installer..

Nice work, Blue. I'm happily using it with DFX 4.0. Donation sent.

FYI, nothing wrong w/ the Ratings portion. I had a typo in one of my "ONSONGSTART" commands. Got it all squared away.

you might wanna throw that in the Q&A blue... alot of people are gonna use this thing and i guarantee anyone using it in their own skin will omit the ONSONGSTART lol. I've incorporated all the latest stuff into my skin and its workin smooth. Thanks again man.

Just noticed these values in skin.ini:
RMFirstRun=False
RMSONGLIMIT=100
Wouldn't it be better that these two values are rr.ini values instead of skin.ini values? Especially the song limit. It won't be long before your plugin will be supported by future RR skins. That way, the limit is the same for the user regardless of the skin they are using?
Just a thought...

skin.ini and rr.ini values are interchangable. You can move them to rr.ini if you'd like.
