To anyone having build/recan problems...
I am currently in the process of switching the builder over to a vb app. I am currently more than half way and so far the testing that i have been able to do looks like this will now allow me to catch all errors and deal with them. Meaning, no more builder crashes durring a build/rescan...
i actually had some weird COM errors pop up within the last day or so.. when i was NOT building a database. Is there some function i missed that auto updates the DB? I've seen the tray icon pop up randomly

The only times that the builder runs is when its started on a build/recan or you cut it off before it gets a chance to finish, as the main app will cont to start the builder at startup to finish up the build/recan.

You take your car to a CAR WASH?!?! They wouldn't even know how to get mine out of Park. And if they mistakenly push the covered switch on the shifter console a 130dB train horn's gonna hurt somebody.

Thank you for creating such a great plugin Blue.
I have tryed to incorporate the RRMedia plugin to Elite, my skin, however for some reason I have not be able to make the Rating skin and the Rating Indicators to work. I have gone through all the code and have checked and everything seems fine. I know that the ratings are being applied to each of the songs, but it will not show the rating indicator in the ratings skin or the audio player skin. I am using the Mp3Art plugin also in my skin and it seems that the RRmedia and Mp3art are not getting along.
In the menu skin I am using the following:
X,RRMediaDb
X,Mp3Art
If I remove "X,Mp3Art", RRmedia works fine, but I get no coverart.
If I move "X,RRMediaDb" below "X,Mp3Art", the coverart works but the RRmedia ratings indicators do not.
Is there something in the RRmedia plugin that could be conflicting with the Mp3Art plugin?
Does anyone know of a work around?

I always have problems with mp3art and other plugins.. I can usually get everything working by moving the order around until they play nice. I have mp3art and rrmedia working now in DFX, but the ratings indicators didnt work for whatever reason.

It is a now known bug in the way RR handles extension plugin indicators.
see the RRGas plugin thread for more details.

Is there a command available to add a selected item listed in RM_MEDIA.skin to a disk like in the audio_playlist.skin (add/replace)?

For that you need a skin called RM_Add2Disk.skin. Then on your audio player have the command "LOAD;RM_Add2Disk.skin", which brings up the skin and there you can select the disk with the command "ESC||RM_Add2Disk1". Below is a shot of my add2disk.skin.

That command is for only the currently playing song.
I'm looking for a command that can load add whole artist/album contents accessed through RM_Media.skin to an existing disk. Right now, it only overwrites it.
The only way I've gotten RR/RRMedia to do what I want is load an artist/album selection, save the playlist, THEN add it to a disk using "RM_PL2DiskAdd||RM_SetPLDiskX"
