No this is not dead! And it is def incorporated in the next dfx update, which ever version John calls it. Too much work by either one of us for this to sink into the abyss.

I switched back to Shock V6.0 in the mustang. I'm resuming coding for V7 on this wonderfully flexible base so if you want me to test out integrability of RR media to a foreign code base I'm willing to give it a try. Was messing with frodoplayer yesterday and the database is great but it sucks when you have to rebuild a database to add media. Hopefully you have vested some sort of incremental database builder to save those precious clocks. Anyway, I'm still on the fence about the database driven media browsing, I like the way the current source RR handles directory browsing and playlists, its one of the reasons I started using RR, to get away from the database

That is why mine incorporates both(browsing by folder or database), best of both worlds. Just a quick quick mode change to flip-flop between the two of them

I don't want to give a release date as I'll prob blow right past it, but...
I have actually just recently started to work on finishing it up. Its really come down to just finishing the demo skin for it, not easy or quick when I'm not graphically creative.

Depending on how the next two weeks go, I might try and get the rest of this together for that grand release everyone is dying to see...
Things on the To-Do list are finish the rest of the demo screens and update the way over due commands text. I don't know which is worse, making the demo skin or writting the commands text.
