Well I have just finished testing with the last two testers and only found very minor things.
They will be posting their thoughts on my plugin sometime in the next day or so...
They were extremely impressed, to say the least!
Word on that release date... possibly end of the weekend, but looking more at the following weekend. I know, I know...but want as stable of a whole package as possible.
Will continue to post my work progress on this.

Prepare to be blown away!!!!!
All those months of waiting were WELL worth it!
I was lucky enough to be included as one of the beta testers.. and lemme tell you... there isnt a more comprehensive, feature-rich plugin available for RR. Blue has REALLY outdone himself. The RRMedia plugin contains practically every method of list browsing, searching, and organizing known to man. Its flexibility.. which is undoubtedly overwhelming at first, is its best asset. I personally would have been satisfied with a tried and true method of searching for songs/ albums etc with the ability to rate songs. Needless to say ... blue has FAR exceeded those requirements. While there are MANY commands and additional rr elements that need to be known... i think once available u'll find its VERY easy to control and understand. He did a wonderful job with the sample skin as well as the documentation. Features like the rating system, database builder and CD changer are easy and intuitive... while the virtual playlist system takes the whole experience to a new level! Imagine playlists being created just simply based on track history or search criteria. That has become a reality with this piece of work. I could go on and on raving about the RR media plugin... but i think i'll end it with something i mentioned during testing. MICROSOFT could learn PLENTY about media database management from blue's 7 months of labor. THAT in itself is says enough to me.
Amazing job blue... simply amazing.

Sonic has pretty much summed it up there. I also did beta testing this afternoon and was mostly in awe of what I was using. We tracked down a couple very minor bugs, mostly due to different RR versions and not RRmedia itself. The DB engine is very fast, equally efficient, and wonderfully executed. Kudos to Blue and John for this creation, i have a feeling this feature will put RR over the top as the best frontend ever. Frodo lovers/users will be familiar with the music management and it is a welcomed addition to the already powerful RR.
Here is a teaser from the GDI+ RRmedia test skin, which I must say I like the feel to it.
Browsing in genre mode with the current song rated 1 star.

its safe to say any and all skinners out there planning a release should wait til this thing is officially available. This pretty much makes the audio_browser obsolete.

And going by the above posts...prove this is a fact and not just all hyped up.

Looks like those 21 or so extras aren't looking so bad now that you've seen it in action....

Yeah, I didn't even bother doing my audio_browser, playlist, album_browser skins in anticipation of this.

It really does not seem like there are 21 menus, I suppose because many are pop ups, and everything works together in harmony. For some reason when you mentioned 21 more menus I was thinking like audio_browser_1.skin, audio_browser_2.skin, etc. Its nothing like that however, the more I play with this the more natural it seems for managing a large mp3 collection.
and yes this will definitely make audio_browser obsolete as this is the Ferrari replacement for the current pinto browser.
