Yeah, but I cant find YT_ART anywhere. Isn't it supposed to be in the plugin's dir?

following the rules from RR coding Team, i'm starting to use the recommended paths for saving, so i use.

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\RideRunner\Plugins\YouTube

i test the last RRtubeEx version (without .exe) in my dfx4 skin

and if i do a search the skin answer me that .

Somebody has a youtube.skin file for dfx4 please?

Hi guys, this would probably be my first post , I’ve been trying to get this to work for me but cant seem to figure out where i am going wrong. To start off, I’m really new to this so will definitely ask stupid questions

. I've managed to get the youtube screen to load on DFX 4.0 but can’t seem to get further than that. When I search, it shows "Searching..." but nothing happens. When I hit play (just to check cuz i can’t search anything), the player opens up not embedded but as a separate window.

Any clue where I'm going wrong?

Also, it would be great if someone did a small installation write up for "geniuses" like me

you can download the latest version and follow the instructions, start with the readme.txt file. i can see you are using the AutoIt version(Old Version), or, you can wait for the next DFX release, which is coming with this plugin fully integrated.

like the error screen says, be sure to have internet access, DFX update is coming, if you want to wait...

Thanks El Camino for the reply, i'll wait for the new DFX release. I did do everything exactly as described in the readme, might have left out something, will redo again.

I just realized an interesting effect: your plugin has a jpeg called def.jpg. For some reason, with the jul and aug RideRunner executables, this jpeg has become the default art jpeg for everything - audio, radio, video, etc. How did that happen?

Luckily, as soon as RR finds the art associated with the playing audio/video source it switched to te right one but this one is lurking just behind it. Very interesting.

The revision (July) that is in my car does this with my Nav startup screen that is a jpeg. It usually happens when I exit the audio_player skin and come back into it after running navigation. If I don't run nav it is blank until I change a song and then it loads the correct album jpeg again. My skin is an early version of my nGen skin so I figured I would see if it does it once the skin is complete.

I just got around to wringing out the latest release and I can't download the videos. I get the following error from Filecop:

Run-time error '-2147024890 (80070006)':
System Error &H80070006 (-2147024890).  The handle is invalid.

Anyone know how I can fix this?

What are the commands again to search YT for the currently playing track? Its nowhere in this thread, or in the readme file. It seems to be totally undocumented. I think it is something you msg'd me about, and I forgot to write down

I used the skin tool to test the commands back when you told em to me, and they worked perfectly.
