It shouldn't be too difficult to convert the original Gas Price screen for LSX

Nice one Enforcer
It's nice to tap the screen and get the gas prices around your current location, instead of having to first figure out what Zipcode or should I say POSTcode, that you are in first.

So, you are saying it works then?
How about the slider?

Yikes, I forgot you added the slider code! I will have to try that out, what was the slider name and info again? Is it the RRGas that you mentioned in the first post, as the code for the slider?

Ok, I just added a slider and the code, and it does not appear to be working. When the gas prices are loading, the screen appears, and when down loading the screen disappears. However the slider is not getting updated.
I can send a:
Setvar;RRGAS;20000
with the skin tool, and you can see the slider jumps to around the 1/4 mark or so.
Here is a screen cap of the progress: (Sorry Bad Punn )

Hmm, I know it didn't work when I put in in a skin, but I thought that was just me, as the debugging code indicates it sends back the updated info, but RR seems to ignore it for some reason.

Is the plugin taking the - 0 100% complete or loaded percent, and converting it to the 0 to 682000 (Cant remember the high limit number, but that's close to it).
If not 100% (or 100 sent to RR to display) would not be enough to even notice the slider move.

it's sending a number between 0-65536 not a %
I think if you turn debug on it should say what value it is trying to send.

I do not see any code in the debug that is updating the slider code:
rrgas_ZIPcode
NUMOSKTOCMD;GASCODE;rrgas_newcode
ENTER
rrgas_newcode
menu;gas_loading.skin
rrgas_prerefresh
Just to verify, the code / variable for the slider should be $RRGAS$ right?

RRGAS is the slider code.
And are you looking at the Roadrunner debug or the RRGAS debug?

Ahhh was looking at the RRDebug... let me turn yours on and post back
EDIT: Ok, I just tried Debug=true on the gas.ini and did not get a log. I searched this thread for debug, and cant find anything on how to enable it.
I also looked in the RRSkinCommands.txt as well as in the readMe.txt in the gas zip file.

As with my plugins that have their own debug log, I just poll the debug status from rr as that way you can see everything if there is an issue instead of having each plugin have its own debug off/on setting..

debug=true in the gas.ini should produce a debug.txt file in the rrgas folder.
However I have just looked at the source and it looks like I commented out the code to debug print the slider values sent.
BTW does this version play any nicer when RR starts up?
