1st Remove "rrgas_#_fdnavigate" from exectbl.ini
Add buttons with the following commands to the gas.skin
rrgas_0_fdnavigate
rrgas_1_fdnavigate
rrgas_2_fdnavigate
rrgas_3_fdnavigate
rrgas_4_fdnavigate
rrgas_5_fdnavigate

He's using hAv1c 2.1, which uses labels with the exec; command instead of buttons for the gas nav, so in the exectbl.ini, go to the section where the gas commands are, after each command, replace them with:
Code:
"GAS0","rrgas_0_fdnavigate"
"GAS1","rrgas_1_fdnavigate"
"GAS2","rrgas_2_fdnavigate"
"GAS3","rrgas_3_fdnavigate"
"GAS4","rrgas_4_fdnavigate"
"GAS5","rrgas_5_fdnavigate"
hope that helps

Is there any way to get text from the jpg picture and use that?

You would need to use OCR software.
OPtions are
1. try to download the jpg and use that image as an indicator. (dis : small image might not look good or be readable)
2. try to decode the jpg filename. (dis almost impossible and time cosuming if at all possible)
3. download image and try to OCR it. (extra software required plus extra time to ocr it)

I'm having an issue with 1.4 (unreleased) and the rrgas_gps command, it just doesn't do anything. I have the GPS connected, 6-9 sats showing, and web connectivity, and I get nothing. I registered the .dll, made sure everything was good otherwise.
@john, sonic and thunder - are you guys having this issue too?

Ya, mine was working for everything but the GPS. I know E will be gone for a few days, so it may just have to wait, but if john or sonic aren't having this issue, I'd like to know what to do to fix it.

Not aware of a rrgas_gps command. Must have missed that release.

did you check your PM's? you're on the list for it:

So, can you see if the update in your PM does anything with the GPS?

have you had a chance to try the rrgas_gps command though?
This is supposed to use the current Lat and Lon to find the zipcode to find the results.

I cant get my WIFI working in the car, I am going to take another crack at it today.
Do I need a ZIP.DAT in my rr folder for the zip codes?
If so, where do I get it?

I was thinking that might be it... hmm...
here's a post john made about the zips.dat:
Quote: Originally Posted by JohnWPB

So on a typical 2 hour drive, you are reading 8.4 Gigs from the hard drive.... This should chew up the hard drive pretty fast, as well as probably really slowing the system down a bit.
The compilation of new sources to make the zips.dat more accurate, was not done by enforcer. Wiredwrx put it together, and posted it in the DigitalFX 2.0 thread. You can find it here in post #1945
In post #1960 BlueZX3 creates separate files for each state. This way you can just copy and paste whatever ones you want into the zips.dat file. This can really speed it up when it accesses as it only reads a couple states you put together that you drive frequently, and not all 8 megs with 50 states plus Puerto Rico.
Then in post 1972 meisner wrote a script to take the individual state.dat files and create a zips.dat file of the states that you want.
The in post 1976 meisner created a GUI for the zips.dat builder. Check the states you want, click go, and it creates a zips.dat with the info from the selected states.
In post 1963 Sonic makes mention of movie times (Done since that posting) and local news headlines.... I would like to the see the news one
I tried that, and still no go...
