RRGrid - A TS Friendly Game/Puzzle Status: Released 27/11/08

This is just a quick, simple and fun plugin.

Released 27/11/08

Get it from my forum

Q. What does it do?

A. Basically it searches your drive (well first it looks in your picspath folder and then your backgrounds folder) and makes a list of all the .jpgs it can find. It then randomly chooses one which it then displays and then jumbles it up.

Your job is to put it back together.

Your have a cheat button which will display a small thumbnail for 5 seconds, upto 3 times.

If you solve it you will be told how long and how many moves it took you.

Too hard? then you can skip that image.

Downlo

Skin commands

rrgrid_start - Jumbiles tiles
rrgrid_cheat -show a thumbnail of image (max 5 times)
rrgrid_skip - skip current image

Labels

rrgrid_status - Lets you know what is going on.

Did you run register.bat?

Check the RoadRunner debug.txt to see if there is an error loading the plugin.

Add debug=true to grid.ini

Request if pos, a score Board , on complete of puzzle it creates a file which holds the jpg name , time taken , amount of moves, and by who , then you can have a button that loads a popup with that info in it , may need to be able to scroll up and down , or just saves the top 10 scores ,

and would it be pos to force a image manually picked from a list . image ind i think will be needed as well.

cheers E

Jeez, you don't want much, this was supposed to just be a fun little thing to help sonic test his plugin browser, based on a program I did many years ago to keep my missus quiet.

I'll have a look once I am back on shift (8 days away), in the meantime it's CFPetrol that I'll be working on.

cheers E (for the move lost net till this morning) some more small request's , i can't get her off the bloody thing , how am i suppose to get any work done now lol. is pos. to have a back button , you have skip she now would like a back button to, she also said leave the score board bit unless you can do it as a label, when you finish the puzzle you have a label saying time and moves , she suggests a 2nd label at the same time saying last score results for that image, so no need for extra skins.

so to conclude the main requests are.

1: manually force image from list, (which is already made when plugin scans paths)
2: and image back button.
3: pause / resume game ( for those times when you are caught short lol..)
4: last score on current image label.
i know you only made this for fun , so its your own fault lol.... thats it mate no more requests.

hope this all makes sense

Enjoy

I'm glad I didn't leave some of the images I was using for testing now, seeing as your wife is the one playing it.

I will look at the list when I can.

Hi Enforcer,

I try to install RRGrid .

I have replaced the jpg files by png and adapted the skin for Carwings_Dynamic_lite .

After that, RR don't run .

I have an issu, i change the skin name in rr.ini (dfx4 or anything) , quit RR, change in rr.ini the skin by Carwings and RR run well, RRgrid also .

If i quit RR and run again RR , RR don't want to run . ??????????

I give you my skin

Thanks for your help !!!
