Sorry for this stupid question. We here in Switzerland have speed warning coded as POI (points of interests) for every fix camera (speed and red light). In Switzerland about 800 from http://www.scdb.info/

Will this work with Speed Zones (CPU Load while scanning DB) or is this plugin more for "general areas with cameras" (surface rather than point). Reason asking is because Trapster does not have (comprehensive) info for Switzerland.

SpeedZone use a specific file format. It is aslo created for to run with trapster file in input . But i had created a program who convert some input file format in output compatible file for Speezones (Gpspassion, AlerGps, Trapster and Speedcampoi. If you can send me, by PM, a file exemple
that you download in http://www.scdb.info/. I can to modify my program "csv2speedzonelimit.exe" and to add a specific conversion .
With my program you can too to see your poi in google earth.

Facing several problems

1. I get the EULA again and again although confirmed
2. There is no EULA for german, so I copied the English one
3. Trying to import a Trapster file in the setup.exe, I receive AutoIt Error, Line-1: Error: Subscript used with non-Array variable

Trapster.csv file looks like this:

Pretty well, I havent worked on the GPS Alarm feature for about a month because I just havent had the time. Dont worry though I will continue with it soon.

(1) You allways get the EULA when opening the Setup program
(2) There may not be a german language file in your EULA folder check for german.lng.
If it is missing copy the english.lng file and rename it german.lng
Sorry german may not be supported.
(3) Again this is an issue with german selection.

How this works is it finds you default windows language selection. Then uses the language file in speedzone according to your windows default language.
Copy the english.lng file and rename it to german.lng, then copy the eula.english file and rename it to eula.german. This should fix the problem. It will be all in english but will be operational.
I have added a check for this in the next version which will default to english if no language file is present for your default windows language.

SPEEDZONE program also had the same problem with language autoselection. German is supported there but did not let you select a different language than the autoselection. This bug has also been fixed.

did the above but still get the subscript error. i think this has to do with localization settings in windows, i.e. in germany the separator for decimal points is comma not dot etc.

can you make the plugin to force a locale, i.e. english regardless what the os language is or to force the separators from parsing csv files

That is what it does now.
Download the 16JUN version, this is a hotfix just copy the two exe's over the current ones. If a language file is not found it will default to English. This should fix the problem.

You can also set the language to english in the setup program.
You do need to press save to save the settings after they are selected or you will keep getting the same problem.

All my regional and language settings are set to English (US)

any ideas?

Download Auto Trapster to import Trapster Zones for now on. THis will eventually be implimented in to the setup.exe.
The import in the setup program is for upgrading from very early releases of SZ and is basically outdated. It will not work. The setup program however is still very usefull and will work fine for importing trapster zones.

I've noticed that the only info that seems to download from Trapster is SpeedZones.

What about the Red light Camera database?

-Fixed the setup program so that the update and import button works again
-Added GeoGate (GPS position activate car alarm with email support)
-All trapster importing can be done from the setup.exe. Just copy the trapster.csv file to the speed zone folder and then use the trapster import buttons.
-Setup automatically backsup your zones.csv so no worry there.
-When upgrading from an earlier version just copy your zones.csv to the speed zone folder then hit the update and import button in setup. It will transfer over all your zone information.

You can download that manually then rename the downloaded file to trapster.csv and copy to your speedzone folder.
Then just run setup and use the trapster import buttons as normal.

Im still getting another error pop up during certain tasks.

In comes up during these times:

1. in the SPEEDSTART Screen, everytime i select a set speed or custom speed.

2. in the SPEEDZONE screen, when i click START command

During the command executing above. THE GPSDiag screen reloads itself (everytime!). And its right after this that the error pops up.

Also, i have installed this on 2 separate PCs with the same error.
Is there a variable missing somewhere in a skins or ini file?

What happens is when you change the Default speed limit from the speed limit screen it has to restart Speed Zone. This will restart the GPS interface as well. For what ever reason though it is not recieving all the data needed when it restarts.
I will look in to this and come up with something. Seems odd though because i dont have this issue on my computer with getting that error.
