Kind of like a geocache club that uses a handheld GPS for a treasure hunting like game.
This eventually will work the same way.
Not sure how well it is working yet, but it should notify you when entered. Eventually if enough interest is generated we could maybe get a facebook thing going to support sharing the GEO CACHE zones. Who know where this will go, was just a fun idea I thought I would add....
To share poi or track is a very good idea.
But all guys use different Gps programs, (Garmin,Igo8,Sygic7.71,etc...).
Each program have his track and poi format.
Its is important to have a good translator for a best compatibility .
A good link to share Geocaching : Geocache.com

THis would have to be used with SpeedZone for geocahing
Maybe not though. It would be simple enough to translate GPS coordinates, the hard part is working with an internet server, creating a subscription system and having realtime use of the GeoCache information from the internet.
Honestly though, if all you wanted to do is share GPS coordinates and enter them in to SPeedzone this is a pretty simple task.

Sorry haven't had the time until now.
I went over all the settings and install instructions, everything looks fine.
Still the same thing. Speedzone starts, opens the GPS app, and then comes back with that "-1....." error. Thats when the Speedlimit.exe app terminates.
As you say i can send you a copy of my whole RR folder. Problem is that is 108MB. Maybe i should send you an email with an FTP link where you can download it. Yea its big, but everything in there is needed. I even cut down the zones files to only 100 entries for testing.
if your profile supports emailing, i will send you my FTP and email details.

I think I may have found the issues.. Not sure when this started but give me some time on this one.
In the mean time set your GPS comport correctly in RR as well. You will need to use a comport splitter such as XPORT.
It should work then.
Ill report back soon with a fixed version.

Yea...now its working.
- Ok so Jun17 exe, still throws the error.
- The May1 exe works no problems so far. (speedlimit.exe v3.2.8.1)
So looks like a bug starting from your June release.
PS
i am using XPort and also tried direct comm to it.
Same results.

However....for the May1 exe.
As soon as i exit RR, that error pops up.
But doesn't seem to be any isssues so far while RR is running.
(btw speedlimit.exe stays running the whole time RR is).
So not sure if that helps.
And i will be testing the May1 exe a little later today when i get on theroad.
So far only been stationary.

Speed Limit does not check for RR constantly, so the reason you get that error is because RR closes and Speedlimit is trying to communicate with it. There really isnt much I can do for this. In the future there will be a plan for this. But for now it really isn't a problem.

Well thats for the May1 exe. And i got a chance to test it today on the way back form work. It stayed active even after returining from hibernate.
And i received a few alerts, so all good.
However you Aug 12 release does not work at all.
As soon as RR starts, Speedzone splash screen comes up, the GPS app loads, and right after that the -1 error pops up as usual, which kills the speedlimit.exe.
I even tried to hit the START button to reload it again, with no luck.
It just seems like for some reason the speedlimit.exe app is not communication with RR at some point during the initiation process.
Only build i can get to succesfully work is the May1.
So right now. I have your latest Aug 12 release running, but with the May1 speedlimit.exe.
I will post up my zipped RR folder for you.
