This is what I noticed.
Aug 23 release as compared to the May 1 release

Aug 23 now installed.
--------------------
-the "-1..." error, seems to have compeletely dissappeared.

- during boot of RR, everything seems to load nicely. including hte GPS app.

-so far the trapster zones are coming through OK, but not as often as May1. I could not verify the validaty of the zone locations, so note sure why this is. I just know that i heard more warnings on the May1 release.
If i can verify the locations, I'll post that later.

-Overspeed on set speedl imit NOT announced at all. Switching to May1 speedlimit.exe, it works without issue.
So no overspeed alerts coming through on Aug 23 release.

Note: i have not yet setup my own zones or home zone. So i dont know if it works. I'll post it after i get a chance to test.

But all in all...it seems to be very stable.
Good job!!

Im bangin' out quite a bit of releases lately. It maybe hard to keep up. I also noticed the overspeed is not working and this truly has got me confused.
There are a few bugs yet, I noticed this morning. I honestly thought today release addressed all of them.
Damn, guess not.
Anyway, fear not I am wokig on it...

From your speedzone folder,
Open up GPS.EXE.
Go to Options on the top menu
THen Field Formats
In the speed drop down box, make sure you have MI/H selected.
Or KM/H what ever you are using in RR.
Then press the OK button and restart RR.
You should only have to do this once.
MI/H should have been default, but for some reason it may have defaulted to knots
This should fix the overspeed issue.

Alright I'll give that a shot on my way home tonight.
i checked the setting and it was set to knots. We'll see how it works now on Km/h.

Got another question about your overspeed accouncements.
Can you tell me when and in what order thes events are fired in the language file.

I'm a little confused as to which are fired for Zones and which are for the default Overspeed limit?

------------------------------------------------
YOU ARE CURRENTLY GOING OVER THE SPEED LIMIT OF
IN A
ZONE
YOUR SPEED AND POSITION ARE BEING MONITORED. THE DEFAULT SPEED LIMIT IS SET TO
THIS IS ONE FAST *** CAR BUT THE SPEED LIMIT IS
SLOW DOWN THIS IS GETTING DANGEROUS AND THE SPEED LIMIT IS
THIS WILL BE ONE BIG TICKET AND THE SPEED LIMIT IS
YOU MUST HAVE STOLE THIS CAR BECAUSE YOU SURE ARE DRIVING LIKE IT AND THE SPEED LIMIT IS
OK SPEED RACER I CAN TELL YOU WONT LISTEN TO ME AND THE SPEED LIMIT IS
You are going over the speed limit of
YOU MAY GET A TICKET FOR THIS
THIS IS YOUR SECOND REMINDER
Please Slow Down
------------------------------------------------

What ever you have set in RR. If international standard units is selected in the GPS section of the RRCONFIG, then it will use KPH, if not selected it will use MPH.
Eventually if I decide to make this a stand alone app, it will be configured in setup. For now I think it is best to keep all settings to what you have set in RR.

Fixes, FINAL (for now)
Unless more bugs are found
-Better zone detection to accommodate for slower computers
-Over speed indicator working
-No errors when exiting RR
-closes GPS interface when exits as well
-Test Mode (To allow testing of Speed Zone with your skin with out a GPS)
-Error Handler (prevents pop windows that display program errors related to Speed Zone)

Oh yeah,
The Graphical User Interface will be completely skinnable using RR's skin editor. It has it's own label and command set (about 30 different labels and 20 different commands).
