After updating to bluesoliel 6.4.* I can confirm that most of the core features of this plugin work. With my storm the plugin will:

-auto-connect
-receive calls with incoming call indicator, caller id, and sound coming from speakers(no echo), AND AUTO ANSWERS
-display phone model, manufacturer
-dial out*(more on this in a sec)

as for what it wont do:
-auto-disconnect when RR closes (dont know if thats a feature)
-display battery or signal strength
-read phone book
-does not auto-mute winamp

*- i can successfully dial out.. but something in the audio transfer is making bluesoleil kill the connection to my bluetooth stick. Only way to resume the connection is to unplug the stick from the computer then re-insert.

This is HUGE progress in my mind. RR could very well finally have an answer to CFs phone ability.

Yes. Sorry. I knew about the version 6.4.236.0 or greater bit and put it in the read me but forgot to put it on the post. Have amended it now and will change the standalone as well.

Thanks for the good comments, it makes it worth carrying on.

The battery strength and signal strength should have worked. I'm back from holidays in two weeks so if you can wait I'll get it fixed with your help (My phone doesn't have those indicators).

Not sure about the disconnect when you dial but the rest of the things I can look into.

most verizon phones need to be put in a different "Mode" to read signal strength and the like. I dont know if that applies to the smartphones but various programs i've used had this identical issue. I installed the plugin in the car and had good results... didnt even have issue with disconnecting a call. I made my first in car call and was very happy with the results! Enjoy your break and once your ready to get it rollin again i'm a dedicated tester.

more notes from testing...

The plugin resumes from hibernate perfectly. Phone reconnects seemlessly. I was kinda worried about that but good work.

Now there is something else of an issue i've yet to figure out. Whenever i receive an incoming call the call is auto-answered. Is this a setting in bluesoliel? I'd prefer having to manually answer because i often screen calls. What would be nice is if a popup skin similar to the one phoco used would show giving me the option to answer or ignore. Again though, absolute FABULOUS work on this.

Hi Guys, I've been watching progress with great interest but have a couple of other projects on the go so have not had a play with this yet. I use Navigon to auto attenuate (as opposed to mute) RR's music when The GPS makes an announcement. See:

Anyway it works a treat for me but I have disabled the skin switching as it is a bit buggy. This might solve this problem for now as I think the same concept wll apply to your phone plugin.

why not tu mute winamp? i can give you source code for that if you need. Also its better to pause then mute so if your favorite song is playing you will not miss it

I's be interested in the source code temp tempgp. It would be handy to post it up here for the devlopers to play with perhaps. Muting or pausing would be good for a phone, but for the GPS announcements, I do like the attenuation as you still hear the music over the voice so you don't miss anything that is playing. It is just that the music plays at a lower level so you can hear what Glenda, the nice english lady who lives in my dash says without being blasted out of the car!

any way I will post source code once i find my project that i did for win amp... but its extremly easy and every programmer should be able to figure it out for themsellves even w/o my help :P

I'm trying to install your plugin, (which looks great!),
but it seems, the installer doesn't register the dll correctly. I tried to do it manually, which worked, but still the plugin shows 3 red circles and it does't respond to annything.

Any ideas how i could fix this problem?

I was able to fix the problem, but i've got no idea what actually caused it :P

Is there a way to let winamp pausewhen receiving a phone call and off course continue again after the call?

hey guys! im having a bit of a problem with that awsome plugin.
i have installed it but when im trying to operate it the skin opens but nothing happens. it doesnt connect or anything. what can i do?

@lkarmi. Have you checked the debug log? Post it here for me to have a look at if you can't make sense of it.

@Sonicxtacy02. My plugin didn't auto answer but it does now

. Not sure why yours does.

I implemented the RR PAUSE command so either songs or video is paused. Not sure what it does for GPS etc. May have to implement MUTE as well.
