Debug is automaticaly turned on. It can be turned off by a setting in the ini file but I forgot to add it.
The logs are stored in the .\logs directory so should be in the roadrunner folder \logs. Its called MobilePhoneDebug.log.
The wrapper dll creates its log files in the current directory i.e. roadrunner directory as I haven't got round to setting it to the correct place yet. All on my to-do list.
its called BSWrapper.log. You could attach both.

ok. In that case are you sure you are running the dll. Did you add the x,mobilephone line to your menu.skin file? Try switching roadrunners debug on and check its log file to see if its finding the dll correctly. To do this use rrconfig and page 4 of general to switch it on.

Everything is working pretty good for me. I had some funky errors with the previous version about the debug log being already in use but i havent seen it with the latest. Absolutely excellent job. Is the command to run mobilecall.skin LOAD or menu? I would personally prefer MENU;mobilecall.skin so that i can size the skin like a popup window.

You're going to add alot more detail to troubleshoot that problem. When you say install the plugin on the skin do you mean add the X line? What version of RR and what skin?

@Sonicxtacy02. I use LOAD but could easily change to MENU. Does it allow it to be a smaller skin over another? Thats the effect I was after but LOAD doesn't do that.
@Ikarmi. Lets start at the beginning. Have you checked roadrunners debug file to see if it found the dll? It should be called debug.txt and be in the roadrunner directory.

Yes menu will allow custom sized message boxes. If the box is smaller than the skin resolution it will appear just like a pop up (centered, or user-defined x n y). If the box is the same resolution its just like using LOAD.

Humm... I installed the Mobile Phone plugin. I choose the RR Directory and the Skin Directory and it says everything was copied correctly. I checked the menu.skin of the files and it added x,mobilephone to the skin along with changing button 09. However, when I open Ride Runner the skin is all messed up with incorrect sizes for buttons/entire skin, text is in the incorrect place and most of the skin unusable. I'm not sure what happend but I tried this on both the Carwings skin and DFX 4.0 and it messed both of them up. I can't even pick the mobile phone button in order to run a debug.txt... any ideas?
I did this by running the installer but maybe I should just copy the files to the correct path and add/edit buttons myself... thoughts?

well with two of you saying its happening its sounds like a problem. Can you send a screen shot so i can see it and a copy of your rr debug log and your mobilephone debug log.
Also are you using the bmv2 skin to try it first?

Lambo, I copied the appropriate files to the DFX4.0 skin and when asked to replace the old "menu.skin" (which was 3.75 kb or something) with the new "Menu.skin" (1.74 kb) I said no. Everything else copied into place on the skin file and I made sure the Mobile Phone folder was in place in the RR directory (with appropriate files). I then used the DFX button editor and changed the PHOCO to "Load;mobilephone.skin" and added the "x,mobilephone" to the menu.skin. This works and the skin loads as your screen shots.
I think the problem is that the installer replaces your "menu.skin" to configure the button 9 and add x,mobilephone. On both the skins I was trying they use the button editor so I think changing button 9 messed things up.

so just to be clear you have it working now?
This is always the problem with skins. You need to know what your doing to make it work. If its working for you can you post the exact steps you used so others can follow.

I wouldnt' say I know what I'm doing but I know enough to be dangerous
As far as I can tell it is working. Skin loads and buttons press as they should. However; I don't believe I have a supported phone. Strange, the Blue Soleil Dialer works for my phone ... does that mean your "wrapper" would work? I'm using a Moto Q.
