I am getting inconsistant reports for some reason....
The first time I ran it, it showed the maintenance items and repairs, and the fuel log showed nothing. (I had 3 fuel up's in the tracker).
I added another fuel, sent the report, and all that was in the report was just the fuel table, and nothing else.
I added another repair, and got the report, but this time as attachments..
I copied the empty logs from the .rar over my logs to start from scratch. I entered a maintenance item, a repair, and a fuel up and this time it came through as all this time as attachments to download from Gmail.
I sent the log again, and this time came through with the top section and the maintenance section, no repairs or fuel.....
I can't seem to find a pattern as of yet, but will keep playing and see if I can come up with something.

beats me... i'm only programatically sending the email one way... doesnt make sense that the email would be sent different ways each time its sent. If the files are open and not available to RRVM it could cause a problem i spose. The only attachment i'm sending programatically is the vehicle.jpg. For fuel and repair log if they have any spaces or linefeeds i could see that throwing everything outta wack too.... but the maintenance tracker should be sent everytime all the time because i'm not reading a file, i'm using the data i've already got.

dont know if this one has been asked and answered before... but the "ding" sound created by RRVM.. is that solved? i still get it but has not updated to this new release, but since my carpc is going to have permanent internet it makes sense to have a reminder at home in the mail

is what solved? The ding is still there... tho you should never hear it unless you have maintenance that needs to be done. The new release dings and sends email if you have internet. If you wish not to hear the ding replace rrvm.wav with a silent .wav file

i still dont know what you're talking about. The ding should only occur if you have maintenance items in the alert phase. It should only happen ONCE daily.. very soon after rr has been started. There is no pop up when maintenance is due.. there is:
-the audible DING
-the email is sent
-ONCHECKMAINTENANCE event is done... you can use this even in exectbl.ini to create a popup or do whatever you want inside of RR when the maintenance item is deteceted as due

Its gonna be very hard to find actually... as the sound is like a cheapie digital watch, and its usually hard to tell where the sound is coming from

ok.. number 1.. use the LATEST version... i cant troubleshoot if you're using something old. Secondly, you're not telling me if you actually have a maintenance item due. If you dont, there's nothing programatically that can make the .wav file play. If you DO have a maintenance item due... do the maintenance, and reset the maintenance item.
maybe RRVM.wav isnt the filename.. but there is a .wav file.. somewhere in the sample skin folder that you can replace. you could probably delete it but i dont remember for sure if i'm doing a file check.

I too can say that the reminder sound(rrvm.wav) plays ~once every 2mins! Until I just got my oil changed and reset the that item, I heard it/put up with listening to it to/from work...
It clearly does NOT just play once per day....FYI

I stand corrected.. the ding will occur on the specified timer interval until RRVM_DISMISS is run. Consequently, you can put "RRVM_ONCHECKMAINTENANCE","RRVM_DISMISS" in exectbl.ini and this will stop the ding after 1 go round.

Hey Sonic,
I haven't been able to send a report in quite some time. I've tried it on 3 different computers, and 3 separate internet connections. I get the attached popup when the report tries to send. Could we possibly set it up with our own SMTP information to fix the problem?
