This is EXACTLY what I have done with the DFX skins in the past. I enable it by default, it is up to the user to deactivate it. I personally want to think that I had nothing whatsoever to do if someone was watching video in the car and got either a ticket, or God forbid, into an accident.
And on top of that, in this day and age, I do not want to be open for a lawsuit.

1. have you tried setting the speed to -1 to test, as the instructions say? If not try that.
2. have you set RR's GPSport up to receive NMEA data from your GPS Mouse? If not, then try that.

If it's not working with -1 then there is definitely an issue with the plugin or where the settings file is.

It must be something internal to the plugin. It is not something as to where the settings file is located, as that is exactly what the installer is for. To ensure that files are put where they are supposed to be, and registered if necessary. This takes all guesswork out of where files are placed and if they are registered correctly, thus narrowing down the debugging process. This alleviates all the initial posts in a thread like: " Did you put the file in xx directory?", " Did you register the file?", " Register, how do I do that" and so forth....

I was trying to avoid saying it was definitely the plugin at fault
Maybe it's an issue with commas and fullstops and decimal points again.
