EDIT:
Ok, sor far it's looking pretty good! I have still yet to get it to show my current position, via GPS, but I only started tinkering with it 10 minutes ago. I figgured a screen shot was at least in order
Here is a Video of RR-Google Earth:
(I appolagize for the poor quality, it was recorded with my QuickCam Orbit on a 26" LCD Monitor)
I uploaded another video done with a "Screen Recorder" but it's not much better as YouTube really compresses it, and makes it very pixilated.
I see (from the screenshot) you got it to display your GPS position ? Anyway, all it takes is the right RR version and the GPS port setting in RRConfig.
Did you post that skin you made (in the screenshot) ? I would like to make it available for the BMV2 skin..

Hey Guino, Yea, after a few minutes I noticed that it indeed had a GPS lock on me. I have RR set up correctly, and never changed the GPS port... must have been some other issue here....
No I didnt post it anywhere.... it is a pretty rough draft... give me a day or so to clean it up and give it the standard "purple glow" around the buttons when down ect. What font does the BM skin use so I can swap the one I used out for it.

I don't know what you intend to gain with the "plus" version, but the Free version is what we're all using.
@wfs1: Did you RUN RREarth.exe ? Either you didn't or you unzipped the files somewhere, ran it and moved them elsewhere. Or you could have simply misspelled the X,RREarth line.

guino,
I did accidently run the RREarth.exe in another folder/drive before I moved it, Dumb mistake!! I then I went into the windows registry and search for RRearth entries and pointed it to the right directory. Is there a way to reset these entries.
I also have the plus stand-alone version, since I had this before RRearth and since it doesn't support but 2 GPS devices in the Google Earth options setup, I haven't played with it much. So I was using it before RRearth.
I have this entry in the menu.skin file
X,RREarth

guino,
Well the problem was I copied the Roadrunner.exe over to the directory but forgot to rename it. No error now.
Now, I see the RRearth skin but google Earth is not embedded into it.
No info.

guino,
In the task manager, I see multiple processes of goggleearth.exe being spawn'd. This is happening ( I think) because neither Exit or close commands are not closing the application. Each time I go into the RRearth screen it spawns another process even though there is nothing appearing in the screen from google earth.

guino,
I also discovered this.
Is RR Earth suppose to have an entry under places in google earth?
I found an entry when I went into google earth;
Places;
RR Earth - GPS Link
When I viewed the properties of this it showed that it pointed to a wrong directory, c:\rr\gps.kml so I changed this to C:\Program Files\Road Runner\RREarth\gps.kml. This is where the file is located??

I tried to cache a little bit and tried to start GE without an internet connection.
After performing the server login Im getting the error: The results of the diagnostics tests are being displayed in the browser. Please start Google Earth again after the following recommended steps.
After the error message it closes. So how will I be able to use it when I dont have an internet connection in the car? Actually I will have it most of the time, but it happens once in a while I do not.
Besides... the plugin really looks nice and it has a very very high -WOW- factor Keep it up!
