There seems to be a problem loading the MAPPOINT_GPS.skin.
What is the value of gpsmode in your rr.ini?

Looks okay.
Can you please verify that the MAPPOINT_GPS.skin is in the skin folder?

Yes, a whole series of MAPPOINT_xxx.skin (7) in the C:\Program Files\RoadRunner\skins\Mmiv2 folder
I made a clean install, roadrunner and MMIv2, on an other PC and I have the same problem.
Something wrong with my MMIv2 install file ? (Downloaded it from the first page)
Do I need to install other skin (supporting mappoint) first ?
Thanks.

I've been pouring over this and I can't see why it's not loading mappoint_gps.skin. I've downloaded the hosted file and did a fresh install of RR on my dev pc and it worked fine even w/o MAPPOINT installed on my pc.
Can you post a debug file so I can see what RR is doing when trying to load Mappoint?

In rr.ini:
"debugmode=TRUE"
Save and Close.
Start RR and then select "Navigation."
Close RR.
Go to the RR directory and you should see "debug.txt" in the directory.
Open it, copy & paste the contents and post it so I can take a look at what's happeneing when hitting the gps button.

Okay.
This is gonna get hairy.
I need you open the menu.skin file in notepad and change this line:
Code:
B10,0,82,87,206,"MMIGPS||MPOPTION1",
.
to
Code:
B10,0,82,87,206,"GPS",
.
Save and start RR.
This is a check to see if RR's "GPS" command is working. It should load MAPPOINT_GPS.skin w/o any of the buttons working with some labels missing.
I don't know if you've done this yet, but have you tried opening the mappoint_* .skin files in notepad to see if they are not corrupt in any way?
Truly puzzling...

Can you use later versions of Iguidance such as V2009? If not, where can you buy/download v3.0?
Also, how do you disable album art (assuming it is the box next to the text when music is playing)? Thanks

When I switch to the navigation or search screens the text font at the top of the screen (displays music info) is very large; is there an easy way to decrease the size?
Also, i noticed in Sal's pictures that when a song is playing there is a transparent spectrum analyzer visualization. How do you do that?

Yeah. Open FONTSYTLEDEFINITIONS.txt and edit the following lines to your liking:
/,Generic Window App Fonts
/DEFINE DIGISIZE01 14
/DEFINE DIGIFONT01 "Digital Readout ExpUpright"
The file listed above is the master font definitions for the entire skin. You can make changes here and it will be a global change.
For transparent vis, open rr.ini and search for this line
AvsTransparent=True
and make sure it equals "true"

Thank you for the reply Sal.
The font is fixed, but when I went into the rr.ini file i didn't find that specific line. I added the line avstranspartent=true and i'm pretty sure everything is set correctly in winamp and rrconfig. Any suggestions?
Also, I forgot to ask is there a way to eliminate iguidance "popping out" into the desktop when you first press Navigation.
Thanks in advance.

If you miss spelled the line the same way you did here then it will not work.
Check and make sure it is
AVSTRANPARENT=TRUE
For iG you can set RR on top, like this
Bxxxx,"SETTOPMOST;RR;true||GPS"
