I'm really liking the Elite lite skin theme and have got new mobo etc. which I'm hoping to get all the features I've been thinking of adding but too lazy to do thus far. I need to revisit the icons again to get this sorted once and for all! (or as sorted as it can be.........)

Sort of.
Depends on whether the RRGas screen is done with the new RRGas in mind or the old Gaspricefinder in mind.

Help required please with my Dashcommand obd.skin to get Dashcommand to embed just as Sygic embeds.
I've effectively copied the elite>gps folder and renamed it to obd, keeping other and other-1. I also copied the eternal_gps.skin and renamed to obd.skin and changed the skin line to INC,elite/gps/$gpsmode$$viewmode$.elite to INC,elite/obd/$gpsmode$$viewmode$.elite
Lastly I've added LOAD;obd.skin||RUN;c:\Program Files\Dashcommand\Dashcommand.exe;Dashcommand to my run command in apps.txt
Obviously this doesn't work but can anyone advise me where I've gone wrong. I've messed around so much with it I've lost focus on what I'm trying to do with it....
Many, many thanks.

One other thing...I still get no music info in title bar until I select 'Music' when I would expect to have the last track displayed. Any pointers?
Thanks again

You mean when you start RR? I get whatever was playing last, or the HD Radio station I was listening to.

Yep, I get nothing until I go into 'Music' with version 1.6.6.
With version 1 I got whatever was playing last, although when I changed album I never got anything for the first track but once that had played or next/prev was used it was ok, but with version 1.6.6 I get nothing useless I go to the 'Music' Menu.
Thanks

I thought that was purely an album art issue. I've tried it and still no info when opening RideRunner until I go to music but just realised that happens with all skins. It must be a general RR/WinAmp setting that I've missed. Hmmm......

Did you select the proper Use ID3 Tag in the Music settings? (Music > Page 1 > ID3 Tags Section)
Make sure it is not set to Don't Use ID3 Tags.

A general question on the skin structure.
I'd like to have some info always shown on every screen of the skin, like the number of visible satellites or the bluetooth link with the phone. There' some way to add these info in a single file of the skin and have them always available in every screen?

Yep, use an "include file"
Carwings is a good example (among many others) this is a portion of it's menu.skin:
Code:
RoadRunner Skin
RRScreen menu
menu_1_OFF.png,menu_1_OFF.png,menu_1_ON.png,menu_1_DOWN.png
[ Dummy Label for the skin editor ]
L3,1025,0,5,5,255,255,255,12,#DFXFont#,"=.",
[ Include File ]
INC,Bottomtext.txt
Buttomtext.txt contain the commands (and is in the skin folder); the labels/commands will show in the same exact place in every .skin you put the "inc, bottomtest.txt (for example)

yes, you could create 1 files (named how you want) and write in all what you want will be visibile in all your screen....
then include this file in all the skin file
example of elite:
in RideRunner\Skins\eLite Lite\elite\active-source you will found a file named
audio.elite
and it contains:
L04,254,29,299,26,181,183,184,16,"HandelGotDLig"," TAGARTIST","scroll-center"
L04,177,2,443,26,255,255,255,18,"HandelGotDLig","T AGTITLE","scroll-center"
if you include this file in all your skin files, you have this 2 label in all the screen...
INC,elite\active-source\audio.elite
