Hi suavecito,
First off, I'd like to say this is one of the best skins I have seen.
I have a question or maybe a suggestion for you. Do you think it would look better or have a cleaner look if there aren't any caption underneath each icon...such as the zoom in, zoom out, gas prices...etc. I'd think people know what those icons mean. Let me know what you think.

I like it as is. I do think the volume down and mute buttons (on the bottom) should switch positions.

I suggest leave it the way it is. You may know what the zoom or gas icon is, but I would have not clue what the display icon was without the caption or the location, I would think was for informtion.

I have made some changes to the IG navigation screen.
1. I removed the display button and made it the 2D / 3D button.
2. The location icon has be recreated and now is an icon of a target.
3. I split the back button in half and added a full screen button by it.
4. The top heading indicator above the side menu has been removed and only the speed indicator remains.
I have added the following through out the skin.
1. By clicking on the car logo you will always be taken back to the main screen.
2. Clicking on the heading indicator always takes you he navigation screen.
3. Clicking on the date / time area it will switch the skin from day to night / night to day.

ok... guys.. how about just let him finish with what he has and suggest minor changes later if he wouldn't mind... All the suggestions are good and beneficial.. no doubt.... but personally, i really like to see at some point this skin gets released.. There's no doubt this skin is ready for now... unless op doesn't feel comfortable.. We all agree this is one great and complete looking skin along with other upcoming skins... That's good enuf for beta release... no reason to exchange small ideas at this point unless they are critical for such minor changes.. I don't mean anything negative or intent to make anyone feel bad..... I've been patiently waiting several monthes for these great looking skins... I want it and i want it very soon. Don't wanna wait another week for some changes in ig screen.. That's all. I am sure you all feel the same way... Peace yo

I am absolutely with you, we are all getting a bit tired of waiting. we are talking about a beta release, not a final release or a release candidate...

If you guys don't want to wait, are tired of waiting, or just flat out can't wait any longer then why don't you code your own skin? Even after a skin is ready for release it takes time to document it, package it, host it, etc. Quit acting like you paid for it or something and have not got your product, suavecito is nice enough to share his work so when he is ready to release it, he will. I am looking forward to a beta to play with also but it's not like this is the only nice looking skin for RR.
@suavecito- I like the changes you posted, epically the logo/heading/time buttons, good idea to save menu real estate and improve consistency.

this is 1 of those things if you show what you are doing through out ,making the skin , it dose what is happening here, i really did'nt think people could be that impatient, i have started skinning myself ,and i can tell you its a long road before the skinner is happy with what he has to release any veraion, due to the many comments the skin will get, and how picky some peolpe are , so for us skinners we have to make sure every thing works as should and everything is spot on, right down to the label alignment.
so we are in a catch 22, show your work hassles
don't show people dont ask about it ,

Well, I hear you. If you show you work in progress, you get all the "could you do this and can you change that, and there is the I want, I want, I want but we also have a job. So the I want, I want, I want and the I work, I work, I work does not compute. Catch 22 is right. I would say "When it's done, it's done". Patient is virtue.

Aren't you supposed to be launching something soon, or has all the activity in the other skin thread put that in the shadows

ouch.... calm down guys... it's just my opinion... I am not demanding it nor getting tired of waiting... I definately not pressuring op to rush things... He should take the time as long as he feels comfortable and satisfied with it.. At the same time, op can not meet everyone's little request as it can be different from person to person.. When things get that hairy, it's more of upto us to make small changes and let op focus on frying bigger fish and like one pointed out there are so many things to to be done before the release, let him focus on that.. In my personal opinion, if that's all suggestions we can come up with, then it's ready for beta testing.. I totally repect op's work and don't mind at all waiting for it, but waiting for something like that, label, no label.. is little different...
My point of view is coming from that aspect.. So, don't get me wrong... And I apologize if it sounded different than my intention... Peace yo
