Ok..Really not trying to beat a dead horse but I think I might anyways.

Any one else here using HD radio?
If so what RR.exe are you using? (MJS, Weather Fixed etc..)

Any problems you ran into?

im using HD Radio with DFX4.0 and it works like a charm.

my version of RR is the newest... and i haven't applied any of the patches (weather, mitch's version, etc.)

did you place all the files from mitch into the HD Radio folder and run the runme1st.bat file?

I don't know if it has to do with the data base builder or with some other unrelated function, but When I hit choose album and hit play, the first song of an album, shows the last song played. Then when it gets to the second song, it is corrected. Also a lot of times the album title is not shown. This is in the main menu screen. I had no problems with DFX3

I did try the patches but it requires you to use his RR version which is older and doesn;t work for weather.. I can't get it to work either way now though.

Once again the skin kicks ***. I am having some issues. One is that when I try to go to hibernation on DFX 3 & 4 it freezes. It happens alot. Is it the CPU being overloaded?

Second issue happened after I installed DFX 4. When I rebooted after installed it show huge number across the exit, play, rw,fw, and volume controls at the bottom. It is now happening in DFX 3 too! Do you know why it is doing this?

Alright...HD radio working...After much exchanging of files and some pure luck. I am using the RR beta weather fixed. Still trying to figure out how stop it from lowering master vol to 0 when exit HD radio going back to music.

My Album art display fixed on the reinstall (must have messed something up myself)

BlueZx3- I built the data base and those errors never happened again.

I am having issues with CPU and performance as I stated earlier. I did a lot of re vamping and my skin idle Cpu is around 10%. It's when I switch screens it jumps to 100.
Has to be a hardware problem on my end.

I noticed one other thing. It seems iGuidance loads smoother, kind of a fade in. When you toggle the layout to something other than default, and then hit menu to return to main skin menu it de-toggles it first. So you have to hit menu twice..

you need to copy the DFXFont1 in the dfx helper folder to your window/fonts folder.

I do not understand where the problem is here at all...... The installer is a standard skin, and has NO hard coded paths at all. Mitch did a great job of fixing audio switching for what was being used (radio, MP3, Satellite ect). The problem is that it is build off of the 11/02/07 souce code, and this is before the dynamic sliders and a lot of other new RR features were added.

As far as getting HD radio to work, this is not a skin relates issue. I use the HD radio skin here, and it does work well with Mitch's cable, and the HD hardware. If it is not working, it is not because of a skin, but is because of incorrect ini settings, non-registered Dll's or something else.

It's kind of like blaming Microsoft because you open a Word document, and the fonts are the wrong size or are alligned incorrectly.

great work John.. i am having the font issue.. i know this has been brought up before, just not sure if anyone found a solution for it.... I even installed 4 fonts explicitly, didn't do any good..

It could be a bunch of things not specifically related to RR. Your GPS receiver could be causing the problem, it could also be another piece of hardware causing the issue. If you're using Xport, it has a feature that will help with that issue.

With 3.0 and all the previous versions, you clicked on 'browser' which brought up a list of folders in the music directory. You click on the name of the group, then the album name which brought up a list of songs (Without the numbers and junk, like it does now in this version). Click on a song and it started to play. You could click on the next or prev track and it actually went there. THIS is what I want.
