Hmm, I see a clock in post 1752, so apparently not everybody is having the no logo problem a couple of us have mentioned. Any thoughts?

No. I havent made any playlists.....it's blank.

kbreeden, I had the same issue. I uninstalled 4.0 and reinstalled. That worked for me.

Okay, you need to create a folder called playlists somewhere. Then in the music settings portion of RRconfig in Playlist Path point to the playlist folder you have just created. Then in the music settings portion of RRConfig make sure .m3u is included as an audio file type. And just for good measure you might want to go ahead and create a playlist to make sure things are working.

Thanks. I went ahead and reinstalled both Roadrunner and the skin and now it works fine. It was kind of weird because I had the same problem on both my desktop and carputer.

Having the no logo problem also.

And I have the voice enabled and it says more jibberish now then DFX3 did. Everytime I go to the main menu, it rattles off a bunch of nonsense. lol. A few of the other buttons when clicked, it will say wierd stuff. Everytime I click on an artist name in browser mode, it says "RM list action" three times !! The browser button says "RM Checklist" and the Clear Playlist button says" RM on song start,reset stars, RM rated O" lol Very weird !!

To all the guys that are having the logo issue:
Are you by any chance using Mitch's version of RR? I was having the issue, and switching form Mitch's to the latest version of RR fixed it for me.

Also, John,
I run in 640x480. That doesn't seem to play nice with some of the new stuff, For instance, the color chooser won't pick colors along the top row. There are also visual side effects like certain menus not lining up right. I think these are executed by an external script?
Is there an easy solution, or do I need to run 800x600?

I don't know which one I was using. I know I didn't intentionally download Mitch's version. Anyway, I'm using the one from http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/road...her-fixed.html now and all is well with the logos. I reinstalled the skin at the same time as reinstalling RR so I don't know which fixed the problem.

It was the RR version that fixed my logo problem. I was using one that was from 5-8-08.

I am still getting all the nonsense talk though !!

john, not sure if it's been mentioned before, but in the installer, you have the wrong date on the recommended version of RR.

I think you meant the 5/27/08 version, rather than 07...

Also, I am having an issue with the Iguidance screens, it tries to load Exec.exe and fails, and then it's stuck in that waiting screen for a while...:

Lastly, it looks horrible in 800x480. I really can't use it at 800x600 with the way my install is set up, hope that changes in the future...

OK....here is what I hear everytime I start RR with the DFX4 skin....

"set command labels 42"
"check icons"
"user switch"
"3 logo"
"background is set"
"RM update"
"RM on song start"
"reset stars"
"RM rated O"

I didn't think it was ever going to shut up.....

Anybody having an issue with Avast now tagging RoadRunner as a virus? I know this isn't a skin issue, but curious is anyone using Avast is getting the same.

Yeah, Avast has been giving me issues for about a month now. Have to disable on desktop to run RR and completely removed all antivirus from my truck.

All one needs to do while using avast is to exclude the path where you have RR running form and there won't any problems. I have written two posts already as to how to do this. Threre are two places you need to add the exlude path too.

loving the new version so far!

i used to like to add my entire music collection to a single playlist and shuffle it. is there a way to add all the songs to a single disk? previously, when i would pull up the music browser one of the line options was like the root option... something like "......" at the top of all my artist folders. if i selected that and then chose to play album it would add the entire directory. i hope that made sense...

i can't seem to do this with the new disk system. any ideas?
