john, fix the HDRADIO next sub channel button
your code is OLD OLD OLD

its

"SETVARBYCODE;HDCHAN;HDSUB||SETVARBYCODE;HDCOUNT;H DSUBCOUNT||EVAL;HDCHAN;1+(($HDCHAN$)%($HDCOUNT$))| |HDSUB;$HDCHAN$",

take out the -1

also fix the sliders in Sirius
should look like:

Y01,"slider_battery\slider_*.gif"
S03,57,103,80,24,62,103,70,20,V,01," ",015,"SRSAT","Sat Signal"
S04,187,103,79,25,191,103,70,20,V,01," ",015,"SRTER","Ter Signal"

FYI you XM is

Y01,"slider_battery\slider_*.gif"
S03,57,108,79,20,57,98,70,70,h,01,"slider_battery\ slider_*.gif",0,"XMSAT","Sat Signal"
S04,187,108,79,20,191,103,70,30,V,01,"slider_batte ry\slider_*.gif",20,"XMTER","Ter Signal"

i see some of the #'s dont match, is that right, isnt XM.skin, and sirius.skin is using same graphics should xm and sirius be the same?... x/y position is close... but not same

John,

Skin keeps getting better and better!!!

I am having some trouble with 1 day and 5 day weather. I get no images or data, but I think that is just something I need to look over and read up on, probably something I did, or didn't do. I do have the RR 05/27 version update which was just 2 files. the Sat, Rad and Temp screens work great!

I love being able to change the fonts (figured that one out meself!). Is there a way to change the font size globally, or would that need to be done on each page? I selected one font, dotmatrix, and the letters were too big for some of the buttons and such.

Also noticed no numbers on the add fuel number pad and one of the other number pads in that screen.

Oh well, that's what DFX 4.1 is for!

Nice work!!!

I just finished installing 4.0, and got it at least working like 3.0 did. One thing I noticed is that my CPU load is around 82%, hovering in the 70's when running Sirius Satellite Radio. One cool thing I noticed is the RRmedia DB for the music. It took 3 minutes, 27 seconds to load 7729 songs into the DB. Can't wait to start messing around with the virtual CD changer.

Mitch, thanks! I have made the changes for the next update.

As for the mileage screen, that is still not working right. Festy made some changes to the code, and it appears to have code from the old mixed in with the new in his instructions. If someone can figure it out, and get it working, I would be forever grateful!

So the best view I have found with this skin using the garmin software is when you go to music and hit gps. Is there a way that I can make a garmin button that will automatically open like this. I'm pretty sad a garmin button wasn't integrated in this version 8^(

John,I posted this earlier, but I think it got lost in the flood of questions LOL!

I run in 640x480. That doesn't seem to play nice with some of the new stuff, For instance, the color chooser won't pick colors along the top row. There are also visual side effects like certain menus not lining up right. I think these are executed by an external script? I assume the menu offsets are defined somewhere in their respective scripts? Is there an easy solution, or do I need to run 800x600?

This is also v1.0 of my plugin and many things to be added and tweaked to make it as user friendly as possible, its just not quite where you want it to be like at current release.

You should never assume what someone likes or does not like, and why would someone like a bad change, as you said. I love change, but why change something that worked perfect? Dont you ever want to listen to a whole album? Why make a playlist when you can just click on the song and let the whole album play? I CANT be the only one out there! I'll keep an eye on your program.

I actually did try that and nothing happened. I just tried it again and it worked. It may have been where a clicked on it the first time. Thanks.

Hey Mitch. You gonna make a new version of your version of RR so I can have my happy, bouncing Pontiac girl flash back? I'd prefer not to switch off of your RR since it works perfect with the HD, etc.

John, Blue and whomever else contributed to this skin THANK YOU its AMAZING.

Has anyone been able to get the "Garmin GPS" screen to work when I click the button nothing loads.. Do i need to set the GPS to external application in the config similar to iGuidance? If so does anyone know what the "window name" should be..

I have not tried the RRMedia yet but plan on doing so very soon!

Okay I used the button editor. Here I changed the path to my que.exe file. Seems to come up fine. I dont have the real version of garmin on this PC so I'll have to try it in the car or someone else can give it a shot. It was embedding for me fine on here but I was unable to hit 'menu' when it was running. Give it a shot and keep me updated!

I got this same error after I ran the music db initial function. Now it is persisting. it actuall first happened during the initial music db build on the "import playlist" function, which is perpetually stuck at 0%. trying the "rebuild" function, but it is still stuck right there at the initial build part.

only other issue I ran into, was after initial install, RR booted dfx4.0 with a white background, and I could only see 1 or 2 buttons on any screen. I had to go from 3.0 memory, and start tapping where I think a button would be, for it to show up with black background. after I found digitalfx settings, I was able to change to a different color screen, and then I could finally see everything enough to navigate.

The rest of the skin is fantastic. love the new iguidance smooth transition, and the new icons and feature sharpness are excellent. weather works great.

OriginalHeight=600
ShowWidth=800 --> 640

Yes, I did that. The problem is that menus executed by an external script aren't lined up correctly
