Yeah set it to whatever path your install is at. Did it this morning and posted about it already. My path is: C:\Program Files\Garmin\GarminMobilePC\Que.exe

Anyone thats using the garmin software, have you found any remedies to sound control while playing music and a direction is give?

Also it would be really really nice to have an OSK for Garmin Mobile PC, its a PIA how it is now...

Another thing I noticed is that the "YouTube" button does not seem to be working in the RR Command in the DFX button editor show's "YT" should this actually contain something about loading the skin type thing?

How should CDRip be setup? I have the files, and installed the CDRip folder in the absence of information in the windows program folder \programs\cdrip, but the "rip cd" button doesn't work in 3.0 or 4.0 for me. any tips?

One more thing I am not sure if this is me being stupid but it seems like the DFX4 package does not have the backgrounds folder and related images.. so if you do a fresh install of DFX4 it breaks until you create a backgrounds folder..

I did reinstall DFX4 and same thing no backgrounds folder it worked when I just installed DFX4 with DFX3 installed because the RRConfig.exe had the backgrounds folder pointing to the DFX3 locatation but as soon as I uninstalled DFX3 it broke the skin until i did the above mentioned.

Now that RR has the transparent(GDI+) avail, some people are now using a backgrounds folder in the RR folder that way any skin you have installed and is of a traspartent type can all use backgrounds from the same folder...

John being one of them and decied that with this version(4.0) that the background folder should now be placed in rr root folder..

Doh thanks Blue.

I just recall 100's of posts from people bi**** that DFX had a vertical line and the fix was to correctly set the backgrounds path to the skins/SKIN/backgrounds. May be this should just be added to the help file or something *shrug*

ok, I could swear I've seen this posted before but I've not come across anything in the search. I'm trying to use the dfx button editor with dfx4 and all I get is an error :

Line -1:
Error: Array Variable has incorrect number of subscripts or subscript dimension range exceeded.

I put it in the dfx skin folder, is there something else I'm missing? I made a backup of the exectbl.ini

Are you using the button editor that is included in the DFX 4.0 helper file? If not use that one. I had the same issue and realized I was using an earlier version of the button editor that apparently isn't compatible with 4.0.

The YT in the exectbl does access another line in the exectbl:

As mentioned The skin now uses a "BACKGROUNDS" folder in the the RR Root folder. It does include all of the backgrounds that DFX 3 had, and a few new ones as well.

NOTE: The installer also adds a link to the start menu to the Button editor.

I am working on the bugs that have been reported, and should have a patch out in the next week or so. It will be the same as the installer, however will only contain the updated files and fixes. No more 50 Meg downloads to update to the latest version

John it's strange maybe it is only my setup but when I click the YouTube button nothing happens, but when I use the DFXButton editor and change the command to "LOAD;youtube.skin;YTViewer;;YTViewer" it loads the skin. Like I said it probably something on myside but thats my workaround for now.

Just a quick bug I found by accident. When changing logos only the logos with no spaces in the name work. I tried to change to GMC truck logo and it would display in the list and the thumbnail would display but would not display in the skin. The Rockford logo did not work either until I took the spaces out.
