Is anyone else having a problem with the short cuts in the GPS section? When I select it to find the nearest gas station it has and error. It didn't do this in DigitalFX 3.

The reason that this was done this way is because when you do a search, you might be only looking for one song and if you end up with a large results list you can just skim through and just play the song you were looking for. On the other hand you can also search for all songs by an artist, ect.. then just just load that results playlist, or better yet if you search for an 'Hip-Hop' genre you can make a Hip-hop disk. Other reason being that there was no more room for any more buttons, as John has told me a-many times...

I do realize that this does work a bit different than the typical user might expect and to be expected with such powerful features at your fingertips, but once you get the hang of it, you should start to see how versital it is to use..

On another note, that is exactly the way Road Runner worked before the database. THe search, is just that, a search. With the standard RR search, you could only browse the list and pick a song to listen to, with no other options.

With the database, the search is actually saved to your playlist folder as [Search Results]. This way you can play every song in your search, as well as make it into a named playlist, or put the contents of the search onto a Virtual disk of your choosing, either adding it to the existing disk, or replacing the contents of it.

NOTE: One thing I did not make clear, and I do need to get some documentation out...

To jump to the Virtual Disk screen, you can add a button to one of your main buttons with the press and hold... Or you can tap the top right of the screen where it says "Disk:xx" on any of the audio screens. It is also available on the song ratings screen, when you press the currently playing track anywhere throughout the skin at the top of the screen.

Ok...Same here, I agree it is too much to sacrifice and have past that along on the appropriate forum. Hopefully we can all get on the same page, or "RR" if you will.

As I stated earlier the entry pad for movie times, the number 0 is off. It is off center in the Vehicle Maintenance skin as well. I assume it's global. Just lettin ya know, not complaining.

The Google traffic is an awesome addition. How do make it default to my location, as well as the live weather?

Blue I have been messing around with the plugin. There is a lot to learn but it doesn't take long... What a great addition...

Am I able to play FLAC files now?..I kept one album of FLAC files just in case. I noticed in DFX3 the songs wouldn't show up. They show up now, so if i have the FLAC plugin for winamp can I play them?

Noticed that when in CD changes skin, when you hit menu it goes to iGuidance and not main menu.

Anyone know how to change between Feet and Meters on the gauges screen for elevation? I have "no internationalization" selected in RR, I remember the DFX3 had and option for MPH and KPH but I don't see anything. My desktop setup has Ft, but the Car has Meters and I don't recall doing anything differently.

Okay, attempted database creation today. Worst idea of my life. I got the error everyone else has been getting on here. Since then, I can't run anything in roadrunner without at least 4 illegal operations. Even tryed reinstall of 4.0. Just one of those f*$#*$*# moments.

Thanks, and yes if there is a plugin for WA to play a certain kind of file format, there should be really no reason you shouldn't be able to both see it and play it. The way I'm building the database, it should be able to handle whatever you can throw at it.

No... I set a button on my main menu for the disk changer. If I go into disk changer and then hit menu it takes me into iguidance every time. Then I have to hit menu again to return home..

As for my asking about live weather location I have figured it out. Different way to set it up than last, my apologies.
