Notice:
I am going on a well deserved vacation Thursday (9/11), and will be gone for 2 weeks.
I am not sure if I will have Internet access or not, as I will be on a ranch in New Mexico horse back riding for a week at a friends house, then over to AZ to go white water rafting
I will do my best to catch up with questions and such when I get back here in the thread.
I just wanted to let everyone know, so you didn't think I disappeared or was ignoring questions and posts in the thread.
If anyone wants to make a donation for the skin to my travel fund, be my guest Money is gonna be tight on this trip for sure. I actually drained all of the $168 in PayPal donations from the past year. I used it to almost fully pay the air fair. I got it pretty cheap on Southwest for like $220 round trip.

Question. I downloaded dfx4 on day one, and I'm wondering if the "fixed" issues listed in the bug tracker have been incorporated into the current version available for download on John's site? I also noticed that there may be some media db enhancements from a seperate thread. Would I benefit from a fresh download and reinstall of DFX?

The fixes are not in the released version yet.... sorry, I hopefully will have that all taken care of shortly after I get back.
Blue is coming out with an update to his DB plugin here in the next couple of days, and that will fix any bugs, as well as add album art back to the browser screen.

Thanks John. Good update. On a side note, I was trying to add some bug and feature requests tasks to your bugtracker, but nothing I add registers. I was logged in. Am I missing something?

Solution for freefone-problem
I found the solution to the freefone-problem.
The freefone.skin and fonecall.skin aren't adapted to DFX. That are the files cdrskull provided for the BMV2 skin with his FF1.4-Release.
The PNGs also need to be edited. They don't have the design of DFX4.
I managed to adapt all the files to DFX4. Everything works fine now and looks as good as the rest of the skin. If anyone is interested in the files, write me a PM. I'd be glad to share them.

Was there a fix for this issue. I installed dfx4 perfectly once and started having issues with "winamp has stopped working." So I reinstalled winamp and dfx4. Now for some reason my install freezes at 22%. Pardon me if the answer is listed somewhere on the forum. Every page has 22 on it since John is coming back 9/22/08 from vacation.
Thankyou in advance.

I have a font problem too, but the buttons are fine. The song titles/artist gets cut off at the bottom, same with the weather.

Well that was an easy fix. Change the font sizes in menu.skin. They were something like 23, I changed them to 16. Looks great.

FYI, for anyone using the new RR build (9-10-08) your RRMedia.dll in your Road Runner folder needs to be replaced. See my sig, bottom of first post.
Then after you replace it just run the RegRRMedia.bat file and it will register the new dll for you.

Sounds like you are still using the native gas codes in the skin.
I'm not sure if John has released an update with the new RRGas codes or functions yet.

Is there anyway I could edit the gas codes for the skin without John and if so were, what, and which Line of code would I need to change.
Thx
