Yes, the new button editor is both 3.0 & 4.0 compatible, but the old one for 3.0 will not work as more was added to 4.0 and the 3.0 version is not equipped to handle the added buttons..

DigitalFX 4.0 issue.
i just did a fresh install of the most up-to-date digitalfx and RR (i've always done it this way when updating my software)
now i'm having an issue as to where i go to change the 3D logo or anything in that same window where it should have a list and there's nothing there. not only that but i also have the same issue with browsing in the music browser, i recall changing an option\disabling a feature called iList but i can't find the option anywhere now, is it moved? am i unable to change this now?
i'm using the version of winamp the digitalfx or rr installer automatically installed...
P.S: going to Menu -> settings -> DFX skin settings has no option for iList there like it did in 3.0, so please, if you do respond on how to disable this at least consider i've looked everywhere that i could think of (everywhere meaning all through RRConfig and any menus i could get to within the UI itself without RR locking up on me because of the menu browsing issue.)

Just thought I'd chime in and say thanks for the awesome skin!
I was having some trouble with RRMedia saying "Could not find File" and a few other things.
Turns out it was because I used the RR installer which defaults to "C:\Program Files\Road Runner" rather than "C:\Program Files\RoadRunner" (note the space in RoadRunner).
If anyone else has any troubles checking the above might be worth a shot
Still have to update to the new RRMedia however, still running the default version which comes with the skin.

For most typical install's the default RR path is "C:\Program Files\Road(space)Runner".

I Have a question/suggestion, not sure if it has been mentioned or asked before. Anyway, i have issue with the shuffle and repeat function. The functions work great, and it shows when pressed, but when not pressed i cant see it. This makes it hard to find, often time i just press in the corner kind of blindly hoping to hit the right spot. Also, it would be nice if it would remember the shuffle and repeat options upon resume. It remebers the song and position well.

It does, you need to check your setting in the config. Gen > Pg 2 > bottom right corner if I remember correctly. You need to change those to either "Always" or "Last" to remember last state it was in.

Oh Damn it does save, Ha, Thanks Blue for your expertise and such a quicl respose. Now any word on the visibility of said options in the DFX screen? so i don't have to blindly press. I sometimes hit the screen lock hotspot while trying.

Maybe something more like this? Replace(backup first) this with the one in the skin folder
'Menu_off.png'
So now they have a ghosted look when not on, like the stars are..

The attched file did work for me (newer version). Strange, as I downloaded mine from the app's thread..
Thanks!

3. I believe I may have had the same issue a few months ago and eventually figured out that I was using an older version of the button editor. I seem to remember that there were two versions and the older one gave me trouble. The newer one is included with the DFX download, but for some reason I was using the older one. Try using the attached.

hmm..that's wierd. I always thought it was the other way around :S
That "ghosted" version of the shuffle/repeat buttons is handy too.

I mentioned this in a previous post. I still reckon some scripts look for the wrong path, but i'm not going to go through them all just to see. Perhaps a quick change to the installer script might avert any future problems ?
Just my 2c.....

In caps on purpose,
I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY ANYONE IS HAVING PROBLEMS WITH WHERE RR'S RUN FROM!!
As I have stated before and will state again. I run rr with many diff skins on a portable hard drive on two diff comps without ANY problems what so ever. The rr folder is called 'RR Testing' and is two folders deep on the PHD. Which tells me that there must be some other issue going on..?

Blue,
I agree with you. My gut feel is that people aren't checking where things are being installed to during the install process. I have seen the installers(for road runner and/or it's add-ons) use both "...Road Runner" and "RoadRunner". It's just takes a quick sec to look at the install path and ensure it matches where you have YOUR road runner installation. If you fail to do this, then all the following scripts will be wrong.
