I thought this was kinda weird.
Code:
"MyApp20","Load;$GpsScreen$;$GPSNAME$;$GPSPATH$;$GPSNAME$||ACTIVATE;iGuidance||SENDKEY;"{p}{p}"
What is the SENDKEY;"{p}{p}" for exactly?
I removed it with seemingly no ill effects. I also tried to simply press p+p while in iGuidance but no effect. Is this for another external GPS app?

im just curious because i figured the digitalfx dimmer was just an on-the-spot change and that it had no time setting.
If that's wrong... I'll be a happy man!
It only flickers on iLists, which leads me to believe that it's hardware, drivers or directx.

it is mentioned in the docmentation for dimmer ,that it may flicker in some cases over ilists and app's , and it maybe down to a low powered or quality machine.

If you are using dimmer feature in XP with RR the inlaye or default video is all black and does not display either. Mitch is aware.

That is actually the correct answer. I worked with Mitch when he was implementing this. On a machine with a "lesser" graphics card, you will see a flicker. (It does this on my laptop, but not on my Desktop system with the same EXACT install mirrored) It is not a problem with Road Runner, but in fact a problem with GDI and the way windows handles it. iLists and the dimmer overlay are both GDI, and they are fighting each other. Think of playing video on your system, and sometimes it bleeds through other windows, or you get a ghosting effect. Same thing if you try to screen capture a video, you cant with any standard screen capture program, as it is a "layer" of sorts. Bottom line is it is the way windows itself draws the video, as well as the GDI overlays that is the problem.

ODB II Coming in the next release finally!!!!!
It has been a long time coming, and many MANY thanks go out to Mezz64 for creating the RR plugin.
I purchased a ELM 327 on ebay for around $25 shipped, so the hardware is certainly inexpensive! No car to test it on as of yet
Here are a couple screen shots, and the plugin is functioning, as if it were not, all the fields would be empty, instead of containing 0's ect.
I am working on flash gauges that will show Speed, RPM and Coolant temperature, that will match the gauges on the "Gauges" skin that uses GPS to display information.

While trying to use latest RR, It changes from 32bit(color quality) to 8bit, when I exit out out of RR it switches back to 32bit. Did I forget to do something?
EDIT: Never mind I found it.

You're right treetop, My monitor is set for 800*600* 32*60, and under the "Run Road Runner at this Resolution" drop down window I was selecting 800*600* 8*60, thus causing my screen to carp out.
NOTE: FVI their is a lot to choose from, so be careful in your selection

Thats, great to see the ODBII plug in. I have had the hardware for awhile, but never used it since I had to switch to another app.

I am pretty sure, since I don't get flickering with gamma, only dimmer. I don't get the flicker problem during the day. I can check again. I might go back to gamma for now anyway.

i went with gamma settings because it seemed the easiest and only solution that was aware of time.
my only problem is that while gamma works great, it really takes a lot of quality out of the picture. Sure, it's darker but it makes viewing angles and colors messed up in different ways. The dimmer overlay is great because it dims the screen equally and doesn't distort the colors in any way.
Does anyone know how to make the dimmer time-sensitive? (if it isn't already...). If not, then I guess it is just a suggestion to add. I would love that feature
