There's a fix for the current version, search through the attachments for this thread by clicking on the paperclip next to the DFX thread in the RRSkins subforum.

Youtube has also been fixed. Elcamino had to change the plugin, as the youtube page had changed slightly, and broke the script.
On top of that I have made some other changes to the Youtube screen. Mostly cosmetic, updated lables and such. One other change is the addition of a "Favorites" button. When you press it, it will list the videos marked as favorites by any user. To change to your Youtube screen name, simply press and hold the favorites button, type in your username in the OSK and hit ok.
Yea, that was a sad day, 3 years worth of tinkering and work on that car here and there with the CarPC and the TONS of wires, modules, relays, sensors, cameras ect ect.... All gone in an instant
John - these changes are in the next release?

One thing to point out, I copied the execbtl.ini for the DFX 4.0 from my last install as I made some custom changes there. Is there anything in that file that could still be pointing to the old folder? I took a quick look and didn't see anything...
Just to post an update, I resolved my problem by going to DFx Skin settings and choosing a color theme. After that, everything worked perfectly.

I was going through the different buttons and found a few that didn't work.
Calendar - Comes up blank with the buttons on the bottom. What do I need?
Engine - Future?
Visulizations with sirius possible? Should work with line in winamp correct?
Is there a internet radio button? I couldn't find it.
I did search and didn't find much.
Thanks again for a great well more then great skin.
Also is there a way to get the help file online? DFX won't extract correctly on my desktop. Maybe you can post the help file on your site so I can read through it at work?
Found help file attached to this forum.

Thanks, never noticed that feature before.
I also saw the attached help file, just what i was looking for. (Not sure if it is the current one thought)
I take it is just a skin file that fixes it? I thought the images were missing....
Edit:
I just tired the downloaded help file and it doesn't work. Shows a IE page that it can't be displayed inside of the help window.
Could just be this computer.

There is a attachment for ODB does that work? I found my cable last night, and wanted to try it.
For the help file, you need to right click, properties and under.....
This file comes from a different computer... check the unlock property then it should run.

Yea, it's just a minor coding issue. I believe the file is "sat skins". There's only 1 version.

Thanks, I found it. I will replace it in the car on my way home and see if that solves it.

I think this would be a great addition to DFX, keep up the good work.
John, I just saw your avatar, what a sad day. I'm sorry man and I hope you are alright
If you're interested I can send you the fullscreen playlist I did for DFX. Everything works great.

Sure thing. Just extract and then copy and paste all of the files into the DigitalFX 4.0 folder (there are a few files that it will replace).

Well this is odd, I went to edit the menu.skin to add gps speed and heading to the main menu and it looks like it is already there. But I don't see it when RR is running. Any ideas why it isn't showing up?
Thanks, used it a lot with DFX3.
Edit:
Also i noticed motion lock doesn't work. It is enabled but I can still watch a video.

i think those are just there for the compass to work correctly, if you choose that as your menu layout. could be wrong though. I think I had tried removing one of those before (because I thought the same thing... where the heck is that label??) and it broke my compass indicator.
