looks like as media player says, "you may not have the needed codecs or filter installed on the system"...

try to install the following codecs:

Real alternative; (this one is for rmvb)
ffdshow.

they will solve your problem.

i play with the MPC without problem, but when running the video in DFX, it show this error.

the manage playlist function not working,i create the new playlist, and it show saved, but i see nothing at the playlist

On page 1 of the music section of RRConfig make sure ".m3u" (no quotes) is included in the Audio File Types box.

i included d, but how to add new?
i click on "Manage Playlist" then it is nothing there,
even i click "New" and Enter, it show playlist saved.
but it is nothing there also

Did you create a folder for playlists on your computer and then point to it in Page 1 of the music settings in RRConfig?

alright, I have the exact same problem.

I have found the solution on the first page--that I need to reinstall the digitalfx font from the helper files, I found the font, but can't figure out how to install it. I tried copying the font over, but it still doesn't work. what am I doing wrong?

ok, I am having a problem with the player. I was trying to get the automatically created playlist that was created by the database to appear in manage playlist. Well, I did something, and now neither the playlists appear, nor can I play anything. the songs show up, but when I press play select or add select, nothing shows up on the default playlist! I am sure its just a setting, but I don't know which one it is. I should have left well enough alone, but I am trying to do more with this software. Please help? Yes, I have created a folder for the playlists, and have it pointed to there and still nothing and now my DGFX skin is non functional with regards to music.

****Update*****
Reset the path to the playlist to what it was before (empty) and that restored everything once I rebooted the system. Still can't "manage" playlists like I'd like to, and I've tried the suggestions I've seen here in other posts. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? Why is something that should be so simple not work?

Problem I have never had.

My year lasted install of XP had finally corrupt. I had major TCP/IP issues. Either way, I installed tinyxp and everythings is running great

I have intalled and re installed rr/dfx4 many times over the past year.(and 3). New problem I cannot seem to tackle seems to be a flash issue. The compass and gauges screen has blue and white block looking backgrounds to items. I have latest flash and Shock installed. Applied fixflash.exe in helper file.. I am 99.9% sure it's flash. Any ideas? thanks.
