I recently loaded up one of the pre configured user settings for the skin. I reall liked the orange Analog style clock. Today I noticed that when my system resumes from standby the clock has stopped.Anyway to fix/change this? thanks.

anyone, please advise on how motionlock should actually lock my video! So far, I can easily watch video while I'm driving, and I want it locked, like any OEM system.
Does it depend on the speed? I mean, is it supposed to lock video upon reaching some specific speed? I have my GPS working, and the Gauges screen shows all the info - speed, satellites etc. I checked plugins.txt and "X,Motionlock" is there.

Make sure that the MotionLock.dll file is registered, also check the motionlock.ini for proper settings, both of which should be in your RR root folder.

quick question:
how I set a temperature gauge to work? As I see it just uses the RR temp, and I need it to work with the speedfan info (cpu temp)
something like that: "SETVARBYCODE;TEMP1;SFT0" ???
I can´t figure out how to make it work....

Pretty Sure it's detailed in the help file.

I don´t think so, anyway, guino give me some tips, and I edit the flash gauge to show the Speedfan info instead the RR temp1.
If anyone needs a flash gauge that shows the speedfan SFT0 information, just send me a PM.

Hi all. I just solved a problem I was having with the audio browser with some help at the RideRunner release sticky. Thought it would be helpful to post here since it was fixed with a skin change. I can't imagine I'm the only person with this problem (although possibly the only person who feels this is difficult enough to post a fix).
My issue can be seen in the image here.

Notice the folder icons in the list. Also, I was no longer able to "throw" the directory list. Basically it was a problem with ilists.
First issue, DFX4.0 uses RM_Media.skin as the audio browser. not Audio_Browser.skin. Took 15 minutes to notice that
Anyway, it was an issue with the Custom List used in the RM_Media.skin. The command format has changed slightly. these were the changes made.
Old:
Quote:
SC,55,140,381,373,#DFX1R#,#DFX1G#,#DFX1B#,255,128, 0,255,255,255,0,0,0,,20,"Arial"
Fix

SC,55,140,381,373,#DFX1R#,#DFX1G#,#DFX1B#,0,0,0,#D FX1B#,255,255,0,0,0,TRUE,20,"Arial Narrow:B"
Some of these changes are aesthetic but the big thing to note is the parameters section of the command (0,0,0) moved. This is well documented in the Skin Commands file so it just took a little hunting.
Hope this helps someone!

Garmin Mobile PC
Hi everyone,
Got 3 questions hoping someone would be able to help:
1. After I hv installed the Digital FX 4.0, I changed the GPS button to the Garmin GPS but when I click, the skin runs but the Garmin mobile PC doesnt - however it runs from the music skin's GPS button. Also it runs perfect on the crawing skins.
2. How do I set the Visualizations on in the top menu bar like this (from the 1st post)
3. How do I add the file extension (like .rm , .rmvb) in RR so it does show when I browse in the folder - I've tried to manually added in the Config but it still wouldn't show.
Any help would be really appreciated!!
Thanks

1. Did you use the DFX button editor located in the helper files folder & make sure the button is pointing to the right file?
2. The help file (also located in the helper files folder) explains in detail how to setup the visualizations.
3. I believe you need a codec for winamp to play rm files.

1. Did that and found out it was pointing to the I Drive, that explained why it didn't run...
2. Thanks for that I didn't know there was a helper folder.
3. the vlc and mpc both able to play those rm and rmvb video and I have the xp codec pack installed. The problem is those rm, rmvb file types not showing up when I try to browse it under RR (for example: when I browse it under video, they are not listed, I have to manually change them to avi)
Thanks again

Mysterious Winamp problem is back...

I'm sorry to revive an issue from the past, but I keep having this problem with winamp.
Basically, I found that if I switch from Music to Video, then back to music, I get the same issue I described here:
http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/1280953-post3192.html
"If I have a mp3 file playing and I browse to another song, then tap play select or double tap the file in browser mode, I get the first tune of that track(basically the first note of the new track plays), then the player just stops - like it hangs.
It does show the tags and the album art of the newly selected track in the player window. But, if I hit play select a second time, I lose the tags and the album art - like RR got confused and forgot what file I was looking at.
Then at that point, nothing will play, no matter what I do. I have to restart RR and it will begin playing the track I attempted to play. And once again I am stuck with that mp3 only, I can't change to another one without exiting RR and restarting it."
I can't change songs in winamp without exiting and restarting RR. I've been uninstalling winamp several times a week now, and I have no idea what is going on. This seems to happen whenever I change from XM to music, Vid to music, even changing songs this happens.
Does anyone have any insight or can anyone help?
