The plugins do not come with any skins included.

It makes more sense for the supporting skins to be in the main skin package, it will get very confusing for people to have to install skins from a plugin package.

However if you don't feel you can provide support and skins for my plugins I understand.

It's not a matter of supporting your plugins at all... Just many times I have downloaded plugins in the past, they come with a few different skins to match a skin someone may be using. What I meant, is that I can create the skins in the DFX style, that you can package with your plugin.

When they DL the plugin from your site, they have to configure it, move files and such into place, so it kind of makes sense to have the skins with the plugin. If I remember, you had a couple of different skins that came with a plugin you did...

The plugin's don't come with any skins. I have done BMV2 and iDrive example skins and put them in the release threads.

It was the standalone ones that came with the skins, and that makes sense, because they won't work otherwise.

But for extensions it's better to have the .skin files and graphics in with the main skin and not have to copy skin files from the plugin package.

I think you are getting mixed up with standalone programs that get embedded and extension plugins.

What are the right folders to choose when installing?

I have last Ride Runner in D:\Ride Runner folder, so, I choose D:\Ride Runner\Skins as destination folder when installing DigitalFX 4.0...

The installation program created me a folder called DigitalFX 4.0 inside my Ride runner\skins folder, but it digitalFx skin appears when I start rr and I can´t choose it in RRconfig....

Only if I move D:\Copia de RideRunner\Skins\Digital fx 4\Skins\Digital FX 4 to my
D:\Copia de RideRunner\Skins\ folder I can choose the skin in RRconfig... but not sure where must go the files inside D:\Copia de RideRunner\Skins\Digital fx 4\...

Ok, I solved it... the installation folder must be the one you have RR.. the problem was my old skin config, RR was searching something for it... just a new RR installation, and all is working fine now...

Yes, the installer asks what folder you have Road Runner installed into:

D:\Program Files\Road Runner\

Would be correct, as it uses the root folder to know where to put everything.

I have a problem with Gauges...

Even I installed last flash player, gauges work, but still I see a white backgroung around left bar and gauges.
No problem with 3D logos, color changers, etc... only gauges....

Maybe I need an old flash player version??

I had the same problem because I had a old database file in rr before I moved my music to another place....

I fixed it writing the new music place in RRconfig and a new scan... never see it again.

Look in the stickies for the Flash 10 updater. This should fix it for you.

Yes, there is a menu3.skin now I had to , as there are so many options for just 2 screens.

The menu button also displays what menu screen you are in "Menu 1", "Menu 2" ect.

Going through the latest RR source code, I notices some weather labels that are available, and were just not documented. Mainly local time for the weather city, as well as Lat & Lon coordinates for the WeatherCity.

I was able to use the Lat & Lon labels for use with the animated radar map. When ever you change the city at the top of the screen, and then go to the satellite radar map, it will be centered with that city.

Gas prices are working perfectly now with Enforcers latest plugin code, as well as a lot of tweaks and additions.

I do mean tons of tweaks and additions, so many I am not sure what ones hahah! Mainly all of the bugs and problems since the last release a year ago have been worked out.
