heelo i was wondering if someone would help me with the music DB. it seems no matter what i do i will not go past 24%... some time i get RPC server errors once i exit RR>>> i tried following ever instruction and must have reinstalled digitalfx about 6 times now. Everything else works perfectly!

Yes, there is a menu3.skin now  I had to , as there are so many options for just 2 screens.
The menu button also displays what menu screen you are in "Menu 1", "Menu 2" ect.
Going through the latest RR source code, I notices some weather labels that are available, and were just not documented. Mainly local time for the weather city, as well as Lat & Lon coordinates for the WeatherCity.
I was able to use the Lat & Lon labels for use with the animated radar map. When ever you change the city at the top of the screen, and then go to the satellite radar map, it will be centered with that city.
Gas prices are working perfectly now with Enforcers latest plugin code, as well as a lot of tweaks and additions.
I do mean tons of tweaks and additions, so many I am not sure what ones hahah! Mainly all of the bugs and problems since the last release a year ago have been worked out.
Hi Has any 1 found a way to solve the WHITE side bars / in 3d Logos and guages..
Where can i look for the STICKIES... ( sorry if its stupid )

YUP that was a fairly LOUD hint and of course I DID read the QnA in post 2
Question: System appears to hang with 3D logo's, Clocks, Color Changer, and/or there is a white Background where flash objects should be, whats wrong?
Solution: Download This file from Adobe.com, then close all web browsers and run it to install the latest flash files.
BUT it still is NOT SOLVING the prob and that is precisely why I mentioned it here AGAIN

It's been found best to install the latest flash from within internet explorer. Try that.

No one has issues with the Music DB? Is there a limit to the subfolders or something? I've searched and cannot find anyone with a similar issue.
I'd really like to get this working as it's the only thing that doesn't work now... And I'm loving this skin.
Problem breakdown is as follows:
I install DigitalFX, in the skin I go to music, then Browser.
It askes me to create a music DB, so I click on the button, it scans the HDD, counts about 2400 of 11000ish songs (approx 24%) and then just stops there.
What am I missing?

Back up from here to the Road Runner section and look for the sticky: "RideRunner, flash and you......."
Some get spoonfed some get a hard time. Looks like you'll have to work for this one!

I have just realized that if you go into the wireless skin, and then return while gamma is dimmed for night, it undims. If you minimize RR and return it fixes the dimming.

I also just updated the 2nd post to reference the new Flash10 installer that RR now uses.
The RRMedia plugin that comes with the skin is a year old. Go to the above linked thread for RRMedia and download the latest version and install it.
You can also delete the RRMedia.db in your Root MP3 folder, and then try rescanning your music again.

Did that, didn't help.

Tried that also many times, didn't help either. I'm guessing it's getting hung up on a file somewhere.
Blue ZX3 is hopefully gonna be able to help me.
Other then the DB thing, the skin is just amazing! I'll be shooting a donation your way shortly.

John, I remember a while ago when Enforcer released his sync pluggin for rr you expressed interest. Now, I know enforecer's plugins and files are not to be included and only downloaded from his forum, but has there been any consideration of skinning for the sync plugin? Thanks, Doug

Sorry, I missed that question:
The dimmer code in the skin is something that I did with an external AutoIt script. The next release will use the now internal RR code to dim the screen, that seems to work much better thanks to Mitch. He did what I wanted to do from the beginning. It is actually another layer in RR that sits on the very top layer when RR draws the screen.
As for the sync plugin, I will have to take a look at it and see......
