Personally i live in Ontario. MS Maps is the only one the covers the area, or any other Canadian areas.
Google has no traffic at all for Canada.
The only downside of MS Maps is that i don't think it directly supports GPS, since its a web app.
Well, Navteq also reports traffic data in Ontario. They don't have the little alert symbols for construction and accidents but it's much more visual, especially for the two different directions on major highways.

haha..nice...didn't even know Navteq had a website like that.
All it needs now is a GPS interface.

Sorry, probably not. There is just no where to put all the extra buttons in the audio screen. With the RRMedia DB in the skin though, it results in instant searches. Also the next version of RRMedia, there will be a couple of new features that I am sure will make up for it

Okay no problemo, I was just curious. It only takes a few minutes to set up the plugin anyway.

Only a tiny bug, just downloaded DFX4.0 and the installer looks for the Roadrunner directory, but latest RR install names the directory RideRunner. Can't wait to try this!

And how is that a bug?
This skin came out before the advent of RideRunner.
The new release will no doubt be pointed at RideRunner (anyhow you can change the install directory during installation)

hey John,
Not sure how much your putting in towards aesthetics.
But it would be nice to see some variable indicators.
(eg for GPS: instead of just a GPS icon is as now. Put a small inclined bar meter indicating the amount of satellites. one bar could equal one satellite for example)
I've seen it on a skin somewhere, can't remember which one.
But it looks really good and gives it a more lively feel.
And maybe same for Volume. In addition to percentage, have a bar meter.
But you still have the Best Skin Around!!

I dont know if this question applies to RR or the skin, but will start here since I use your skin John. I use the album thumb browser to choose my music, as this is a very visual way to look for the music I want to listen to. After I have chosen the artist , the browser switches to the albums from that artist. What I want to know, is it possible to display the albums from that artist, based on the release year of the album, rather than the alphabetical listing of the album title. I know this can be done both in Winamp and Windows Media Player. Also a choice of ascending or descending order of year of release would be cool too.
Thanks.

unfortunately there is no easy way to do that. The album viewer uses the directory lists from RR, which are alphabetical.
It is not graphicsl like the thumb browser, but you can sort them by year in the standard browser which uses the RRMedia database.

I realize it could take some work, but you could always organize your music into folders with the convention [year] - [album name]. Pretty much all of my music is like that... it makes it that much easier to go through, even in Windows

If anyone is interested, I made two logos of the BMW M colors for this skin. One with a black background, and one with a white background. Don't think I can attach them as a file, so you could PM me if you want them in an email. If you want to do something on your own, RGB:
Blue — 0 138 201 (Hex: 008AC9)
Purple — 43 17 90 (Hex: 2B115A)
Red — 241 26 34 (Hex: F11A22)
