No it's not a 100% fix. That's what we're saying.
A lot of times the lower left start icon is still there even after using the "hide task bar" option.

another issue...when in RR, the CPU goes up relatively high to like 50% + and i tried updating the flash but nothing to my avail...can u shine any light upon me John?

Are you using a 3d logo like a clock? Could be eating up your CPU time..

Your right... I am using the clock. Is there any way to change that out? I tried changing to a car logo but it didn't work via RR options.

You change it through the skin, under Settings > DFX settings

Blue, John,
is there a way to use the content of a .txt file in a indicator box? like the icons in the menu, where we use "setvar" to create a var that points to a png image, and we can change this image on the fly...
could it be done with a TXT?

Hmmm no way that I can think of.... The easiest way would be to create a sub folder in the skin folder with the different variations of the image. Then whatever it is that is supposed to change the contents of the text file, just do a file copy instead to the correct name to be displayed by the file indicator.
Something like:
copy <Skinpath>/Indicators/IndicaorStatusOn.png <SkinPath>indicator.png.
When an image that is displayed with the file indicator changes on the drive, it is updated instantly in RR.
I am in Canada for the next few days, if nothing else, when I get back I could make a small AutoIt script or something to possibly do something like this....

Hi John
Is this a flaw or is it supposed to be like this only.....
I have 12 stations in my Radio page... ( using Si Labs )..
While in this page i can use the Forward/reverse buttons to go to next or previous tuned radio station ( i guess it works like this ... Fine )
but when i am on the main menu screen ( while the radio still playing ) the Forward / reverse buttons dont work to change the channel....
Should this also not work like in the radio page

since the last release of DFX, new commands have been added in rr to go to the next and prev of whatever is playing EA: next video, song, radio station all with one button command. I will get this all sorted out before the next release.

I've run into this type issue on several skins. The easiest way to fix it is get a multi-file editor (WildEdit is what I use) and search and replace all NEXT and PREV commands to RRNEXT and RRPREV in all your .skin files.

any ideas why i cant switch out the clock?? when i go change it to the lexus logo, it freezes up and i have to shut it down via task manager.

John, I think I don´t make myself clear, I want to show the content of a TXT file in the skin, and I want this content to be updated every time I press a button in the skin.
(I will have a txt with a percent value that changes every time I press a button, and I want to see this value on the screen)...
Do you think that will be easy to understand if I put here a image of the screen/skin?? (cause my english sucks... hehehe)

Like how much is in this txt file? One line, serveral lines/pages? Would just be easier if we knew what your trying to do..
Like do you want to display the whole txt file in one big label or ???
Thinking that a screen cap might show what your not telling us..
