I need help with image viewer, I finally got it to load and see the pics but none of the buttons work. I can sometimes use the keyboard to go to next and the others.
I downloaded imageviewer 3.

First of all make sure you have your adobe flash updated...
then use the skin editor and remove the 2 boxes (buttons if I remember) above and beyond the clock... (in both menu and menu2)
I remember that something like that happen to me when I update the RideRunner...
this procedure should solve it...

Yes, those "button" area's are to change the visu prev/next and where only ok if you where using the stationary logo/pic menu styles. This has been address and already fixed in the next one....

Hooking up a button can be done in many different ways.
- Jebus designed a Serial Port Plugin so you can hook a button to 2 wires on the serial port.
- Use an available input on the Fusion Brain.
- Use CDRSkull's JoyPad plugin to take any old USB game pad to add a button
- Using RR's keytbl.ini, you can set a key on a keyboard, that when pushed will trigger it to listen.
- Use a mouse/trackball and assign a button.
- iBus
- Girder
John...
How difficult would it be to have it completely voice activated?
You could have the system always waiting for a specific command to activate.
"Computer, arche!"
Maybe someone can compile a module to emulate the seral port commnd when the voice phrase is heard.

Better yet. how about custom reponses using text-to-speach.

Well, it's really not a DFX 4/5 process. This is possible through the plugin made by Jebus, John is just customizing aspects of that plugin for DFX 5 countability etc.. Follow the thread Jebus has up as it is ever developing each day.

Actually the audio volume is lowered to zero, and set back to previous level, not muted...

The precommand was removed due to false recognitions in the vehicle environment....
The manual VR attention trigger is the best overall way to achieve optimum results.
The vehicle manufacturers use this technique, and they spend millions on R & D...
