Hi again.
I try all these days to find a solution about the 100% percentage when I enable the gps port in RR. The flash clock is enabled and RR never hangs. It only does when GPS port is other than 0.
So In the menu.ini I disabled these 2 lines because I don't need them. (In menu2.ini they are enabled and they don't affect what I will write).
L,1,0,1,1,0,0,0,12,"Arial","GPSHDG",
L,1,1,1,1,0,0,0,8,"Arial","GPSCompass",
So when I disable them RR don't start. If I enable these 2 lines RR starts normally. I try to figure out if these 2 lines affects the 100% load of the cpu when gps is enabled. But I can't delete them because RR don't sarts. Bingo. Any idea?

Apologize if this has been adressed, I have looked. When I am in the Music player screen and playing a song, when the song ends, if I switch back to the main menu the song starts playing again from a random point. This happens vice versa ocassionaly as well. I believe it has happened switching back ffrom the GPS screen as well. Anyone have this happen?

Yes, I have seen this happen when you play a single song and let it finish. Once you start switching screens, it will start playing again from around the middle of the song.
At first I thought I was hitting the progress bar and resetting the song back to the middle but that was not the case.

No problem here. I'm running a flash clock and the GPS port is set in RR..CPU load is around 10% normaly.
If haven't done this yet, delete ziplocator.dll and zips.dat from the RR folder (if they are there).

celeron 1,7 , 1gb ram. RR loads the cpu at 100% but only when gps port is enabled.
If you change these 2 lines
L,1,0,1,1,0,0,0,12,"Arial","GPSHDG",
L,1,1,1,1,0,0,0,8,"Arial","GPSCompass",
to
/L,1,0,1,1,0,0,0,12,"Arial","GPSHDG",
/L,1,1,1,1,0,0,0,8,"Arial","GPSCompass",
in menu.ini, does RR starts?

Thanks. Maybe something is wrong with my installation files. I don't know. I will try to download everything again and reinstall RR and DFX3.
Thanks again.

I had the same problem, never did figure it out. It did not do that on my home PC, so I installed it there, then copied the entire RR folder and put it on my carPC. Haven't got all the bugs out, but it works mostly.
One problem...help please...I set up HD Radio on another PC and it worked fine. Now I'm trying to set it up on my own car and I can't get it to work in the DFX skin. Works fine as as stand alone...with the OE software.
What was the deal with the rr config...set the radiomode=0...or radiomode=8 ????
