Hi and welcome.
If you are using this FrontEnd (DigitalFX 3.0), all you need to do is hold one of the buttons at the top of the screen until the keyboard pops up. Then, just type in the city. I'm not really sure if this works for Europe or not, but thats how you change the buttons.

Make sure you have a 'weather' folder in your RR folder. If its there, and you have internet access, it should work as far as *I* know. I could be wrong.
As for the Sat, Temp and Radar screens, I cant help you there because I have no idea.

theres a wheather.ini file that you can edit with your region satellite maps.
The hard work is figuring out where to get the images for your region. You could try visiting your local tv web site and looking for the weather section. If they have a weather map just copy the url of the map and put it in the weather.ini
AFAIK, it has to be a gif image if you want to have animation in the map.

Open weather.ini with notebook. There are examples within the .ini on where to get maps. You will see the 3 types of maps with their respective websites in the .ini.
This will take some work to get what you want, but it is doable.

Hey I have two things happening here that I would appreciate a bit of help with.
First thing: If I go to the gauges screen and the song that I was listening to (mp3) ends, then I go back to the main menu the song will start at 1.5 minutes into it. I checked this also with going to other screens. If I go to a screen then jump back the song will go back to that time frame. Note: For clarification it only does it when the song is done and there is no new song to play.
Second thing: every once in a while I must hit some part of the screen or do something random and I end up on the numeric key pad screen that says lock/unlock <= etc. I can not get off that screen no matter what I try. Hitting cancel or enter or whatever doesn't do anything. I have to do a complete reboot because if I hybernate of course it goes back to that screen.
Third thing: I was bored today and checked out the games. I loaded up break out. I could not quit the game and when I hit menu to go back to the main menu I could hear the game still going in the back ground.
I did not try this with other games.
Thanks in advance.

There is a screen lock feature. I personally chose to disable it. It is a hidden button in the upper left corner of the screen, talked about in the DFX help file. Find the hidden button using the skin editor and delete it. You might want to put in a password also, so that you can get out of the screen if you accidently hit it again, or don't delete it on every screen that it is needed. The default password is 1234, or you can change it in the screenlock.ini in the Road Runner root folder

What GPS program do you guys think works better with this skin? MS Streets & Trips or Iguidance? I am looking into purchasing one of them, and I dont want to blow $100 on something thats not going to look nice in this skin Thanks!

Cool thanks, I know they both have good reviews as far as overall software by many people from what I was reading on here, but I wasn't sure which one was better suited for this skin, because its by far the best skin and the only one I will use.

I have streets & trips 2007 (what I started with) Iguidance 4.0 and Igo Myway
They all have pros and cons, streets is a good program, has a fair POI database and fairly accurate maps, it falls a little short in the turn by turn area but it's major downfall is that it is not really tailored to work on a small screen so it is a big hassle to actually use on a car pc. On a positive note, none of the other nav software I have lets me change an Itinerary print out maps, or view and print drive/time schedules import way points, view Long/Lat at the cursor ect.
Iguidance has a great POI database good address data base It's turn by turn is better than streets but it still makes me mad at times when it tells me to turn where there isn't a road or makes me miss a turn (its not perfect technology at any rate), and it works great on a car pc screen not to mention that there are features in this skin that help make it easier and more "pc screen" accessible.
My Way is really a handheld app. so the most resolution I can get is 640x480 (no problem I just made a skin to accommodate it) It's POI data base is better than streets but not as good as Iguidance and its address database is equal to Iguidance (if I cant find an address with one I can usually find it with the other) and the turn by turn in MyWay is superior to all the rest.
Bottom line is that I wish I had an application that took the best aspects of all these bundled up into one, but since I don't, I achieve a happy medium by relying mostly on Iguidance (tell it makes me mad).
