John,

I have sirius working in digitalfx, but everytime I go to change the channel it goes to "0000 sirius ID" If I go into favorites it plays most of the ones that are listed. Is there a way to go through the channels. I don't know how to get it to work right?

It looks like it is working, but I can't change the channels. When I go to change the channels it just goes to that code 0000 sirius ID. The only way I can change the channels is when I hold down the favorites button it takes me to a screen with a bunch of channels with images...and when I select one of those if goes to that channel...but that is it.

Do I have to load the channels in to RR or do something in the config so it knows my SID number?

Please, don't hold back, be honest! LOL Wow, I was pretty sure it was a step in the right direction. The change is very subtle, if you compare them side by side, just a cleaner look IMHO. You can save the images you are using now to use with the next release, but there are also a few new skins that will not match 100%.

Ok, just another Graphic update. Altered the Main Menu slightly to get rid of the space between the menu bars, and the icon area. It s tricky, as the icons are indicators, and an indicator will not show up under an area with button code. To compromise, the on indicator for the buttons (The white area that show up when a button is pressed or moused over) will curve around the icon, and not cover it.

I did not have to do anything special to load the channels in to RR..

Check other thread you posted in, I gave you a link to the latest ini and channel logos. I think that may fix your problem.

I really like this skin but I'm still having a few problems. Hopefully, someone can help me out. BTW, I read this whole thread so if I missed the obvious answer then I apologize...

1. Iguidance gets sats and works on it's own. It loads up fine in the skin but I get no sats. However, it will work inside the skin if I start it on its own first, leave it open, THEN run Roadrunner. Seems like it doesn't open the right port when I start roadrunner but I have entered the right com port inside the RR config.

2. Using the Visteon HD unit with Mitch's interface cable. Radio works fine on it's own using Mitch's software. It won't work in the skin and I can't hear it turning on either. I have checked rr.ini file and it I have set the right com port. I'm using line in and set the radioline=3. I used the updated HDRADIO.ZIP file and put the files in roadrunner/hdradio folder and ran the runme1st file.

3. This last problem isnt really specific to this skin. My folders are organized by Artist. Is there a way to load ALL the songs and then just scroll down and choose which song I want to listen to instead of having to click on an artists folder and then select a song.

Thanks alot for any help you can give me...I've wasted way too much time playing around with software problems...I just wanna get this working.

1. I think this is because you have RR and Iguidance using the same port for your GPS. Be aware that by telling RR what port your GPS is on, it will use it for its own data (compass, gauges, etc). You need to use something like XPort to duplicate your original GPS port so that it doesn't get tied up.

2. There are lots of posts on this. Make sure you have these in your rr.ini:

HDRadioport=3 (would tell RR to use COM 3 for hd radio. Replace with whichever port)
radiomode=8 (tells it to use hd radio for its radio mode. Make sure this is set to 8)

Here is my DFX Button Editor...

John has tested it, but as always, make a backup of your Exectbl.ini file first!

Just place in your DFX skin folder, other wise it very kindy asks you to move it there anyway.

Clicking on a button give you this

The "Button Image" button allows you to select an image to use when that button is on the menu screen as the pic next to the button

Hello John!

I was wondering if is possible to change in the Net Radio Skin the display to show the current music. and put the name of the Station (current message on the display) in the corner.

Could you do it for us?

John, just wanted to say that I really like this change. The menu bars/icons really look great now!

I wasn't a huge fan of the 'glassy' look either but I can live with it, and with the new change I barely notice it any more.
