i have a question when i use Hdradio (hdzoom with mitch's cable) on the main screen i dont get the song title artist etc. if im on the hdradio screen this comes up fine but not on the main screen is there any way to fix this

I don't think that I have ever not finished a improperly working program. Some have taken me longer, but they have/will be completed..

how do you run embedded applications inside DFX? The ones that you embed in road runner?

On the programs screen, there is an "External Programs" button. This is where you get to what is refered to in Road Runner as the "Launch" programs. You need to create an ini for each program ect.... check the skin commands.txt for more info on it, or look at the example ini's in the Road Runner/Launch folder.

hey guys, i've tried to reach you on msn,
but what my question is, is that i get a very small vertical ahm.. stripe instead of the full skin.. Is it possible it has to do something with my set up?? I mean memory and CPU??

Its a pentium 4 with 337mhz ddr memory.. I know it's not much but it did all i needed it to do.. untill now..

John, thank you for reply and the information concerning embedded applications in DFX 3! Also...thanks for the FAQs on this thread. I've already adjusted the radar imaging so it points to my current location when it comes up, and I'm using the latest RoadRunner beta so weather is now working again.

I do have several observations:
1) Concerning entry of gas in the mileage section of the program. When you click on enter gas, a screen comes up that looks like a transparent numeric keypad, but with no images or labels. I read in another post that this was incomplete and awaiting an update. Has the patch been posted?

2) IE 7 browser does not embed very well. Would firefox embed cleaner? Are there settings somewhere that I need to adjust?

3) When you call up the RR configuration window via DFX, I have noticed that the RR config window will overlap a settings window. For instance, when I change a path setting for the browser, a window API pops up and before I can do anything, the RR config window appears back over it. When I close the application, the API window for the path is still there, I choose the path and then I restart RR. It works that way, but it really shouldn't.

John, you have done a great job on this. I need to papal you something for all of this and for the support, or at least offer my skills as an application developer to work on a section of the skin that needs help or enhancement.

I can't get the menu button editor to work. I put it in the same folder as DFX but it say says can't find a compatible exectbl.ini file".

I've no ******* clue what UHG should mean but i take it as a yes..
Anyway.. RR & XP was running perfectly..

OK did a DX diagnose.. aaannnddd.. it's a AMD 2600+, 1g ddr 333mhz memory, 480mb ram and Direct x 9c installed.. Still getting this strange skin even after i've changed these things in the log file..

Anyone with some smart answers instead of UHG??
