remove the sn stuff from that line and put snavi

now on a clear line put "snavi","xxxxxxxxxxxx"

the xxx's being your cmd line you had in onskinstart in your post.

I do concur that would be the better way of doing that...

Thanks guys,

I ended up adding the line to the start command (I wanted this action to happen with all skins). That seems to work ok.

Anybody have the song title save working? I have a HD radio with Mitchs cable, I noticed Mitches standalone front end does not have this feature, so was wondering if it even worked, and maybe it was in the DFX skin as wishful thinking

I am having an issue with the way the Artist and Song is displayed at the top. They are correctly displayed when I am brownsing songs, but once they are playing, the Artist is listed as some random 4 letter name. How do I fix this?

Hello.
1. How i can use this skin and IGO. When i click on "GPS" RR is turned off and in a separate window is started "IGO"
2. Still RR hangs for some seconds about each 20 seconds
In search has not found =)))

Ok, when DFX3 first started up, It would say 3 things. Annoying as all get out.After playing around, I got it to not say these things. So far, what I did seems to have not caused any other problems. here are the 3 things it would say and what I did to correct it.Everything i deleted is in the ExecTBL ini in the DFX3 skin folder.

1. "Background is set"...Find this line and delete the highlighted part

I'm still having some search issues with albums in the new skin. Running Winamp 5.13 with the new beta of RR (weather fix) wondered if you could shed some light.

- When I go to album view in the library and try search by letter the search doesn't work, instead it jumps to the album currently playing.
- Also if I press 'Dir Up' from within an album (looking at the tracks of the album) it goes back to root rather than to the album list.
- Noticed that choosing 'add album' doesn't enque the album but clears the current playlist and adds only that album.
- Double clicking a single track in the album window adds the entire album to the playlist and also clears the currently playing/queued songs from it

I remember it did the same thing in DFX2.5 for me too, so it must be something I am doing wrong with Winamp's library.

Is 5.13 the best version for DFX 3 or is there a specific way I should be importing my music files into the winamp library?

I am having a problem when running iGuidance embeded. After a while of using it, I can't see the buttons at all for the skin, and I see the desktop in their place, around iGuidance. Anyone know why this is happening?

Please, I need some help here.

I'm trying to fix DFX 3,0 to show my speed and number of satellites in the gauges screen, but I'm not making finding the information needed to do this.

And, yes, I have searched. Maybe my search tags are ineefficient, but I did search with "gauge" and "satellite."

Must be missing something. I would appreciate your help. Thanx.

You need to do a com port split, search for "Xport".

I am trying to figure out how to play CD's in DigitalFX. I remember seeing something a while ago on the threads about changing the drive in one of files in DigitalFX, but can't seemed to find that page.

Can anyone help me with this?

I totally understand that! There are 2 sections in the Help File that cover this completely. One is How do I.... Make the gauges work, and the other, How Do I ..... Use more than one GPS device.

It goes into great detail. with instructions as well as screen captures (Pretty little pictures for reference), as well as even including Xport with the skin. I simply can not explain it more than it is in there, and around 10 posts in this thread, as well as 50 or so posts in other threads.

If you do not know where the help file is it is in the DFX skin folder, in s sub folder DFX Help file.chm. It is also in the start menu, as well as a shortcut on the desktop when the skin is installed, as well as a screen in the installer telling you where it is.

Open the file:
C:\Program Files\Road Runner\skins\DigitalFX 3.0\Scripts\AutoLaunch.ini

In notepad, and change the drive letter to match your CD/DVD Drive. This should get you up to speed. (This has been added to the help file for the next release)
